NO SHIT SHERLOCK

THIS IS SO IMPORTANT BECAUSE IT’S STILL IN THE MIND PALACE. Sherlock feels so so so fucking horrible about the Fall and what he did to John by not letting him in. He can’t even address it with mp!John without witnessing a deep, emotional reaction. The fact that he understands by the end of the episode that John is endlessly forgiving and wants to be a part of anything Sherlock does because of how much he cares for Sherlock, and vice versa, is the most emotional maturing and development I’ve ever seen in any character on TV or film in a fuckin long time. Sherlock made leaps and bounds, and he knows what he needs, wants, and craves.

And when he relives the Reichenbach fall in the mind palace, he undoes his mistake. He lets John in on the secret. There is no deception. In fact, John saves him, because it was high time. John’s turn. That’s what I want to see in s4.
