February was a good month. 2/2022

A string of good feelings. Freshly made mochi donuts, Felix, slushee wines, board games. The cafe playing Gymnopedie while reading and sippin a matcha latte. (July - August 2021)

First coffee shop work session in over a year. Pizza and coffee. Running into a great used bookstore. Haven’t been in this neighborhood in years and it’s a little sad to see so many old places I’ve been to boarded up and closed from the pandemic. It’s changed a little bit, and will continue to change. (June 2nd, 2021)

Long weekend in Colorado; elevation and nature walks, different scenes, small towns. Stepping stones. Remembering how to travel, how to be with family. Celebrating with a very good wedding. (May 12 - 16, 2021)

Pumpkin patch and sunflower farm; getting lost in a corn maze, constantly patting hay off my butt after sitting on the bales, hanging out with nugget, secretly petting goats for free in the corner, generally feeling sweaty in 90+ degree weather. (October 16, 2020)

Woke up early to drive to the beach; breakfast with company, petting Winston; spent two hours reading at the beach until I had to pack it up cause I had to pee. (September 12, 2020)

Looking for Perseid meteors at 2:30 am; fingers smelling like butter from making brioche; an ear full of nick drake and velvet underground, 1.5 meteors (August 12, 2020)
