my name is james (30+/he/him/eastern time zone/aka doc) and i've been dipping my quill in this ink for a long time. this is a drama free zone. this blog is not for the squeamish or weak of heart. being a death eater and a prominent PUREBLOODwizard is not without its vices nor is it without its DARKNESS.

AS IT WERE; dark wizards who frequent places like knockturn alley and feel the slithery, almost painful sensation of the dark mark TWISTING to life are NOT inherently good people.

this blog is my safe writing space for (iconless) lucius malfoy of the harry potter franchise. i'm not here for the creator of this world. i'm here because i love lucius malfoy and would like to give him the depth he deserves.

there will be no hate tolerated here and i am liberal with the block button. if i follow you, it means i want to write with you. i'm not here to collect followers, i'm here to write. usually novella but i try to match the length of my writing partners.

this blog and lucius are heavily affiliated with @narcisme. at this time, she is the ONLY narcissa i will be writing with as our backstory and history are HEAVILY entwined.

i know this seems like a lot, but i promise i DEFINITELY want to plot with you and write with you!

BUT HOW DO WE KNOW that lucius was NOT a double agent like snape and that's why he was sweating for the entirety of DH. all i am saying is that the story was told centered around harry and lucius was not easy to simply place in hogwarts, having absolutely nothing to do with it aside from being an alumni with a student there now.

it is entirely possible that the risk for him being seen at any order meeting was too great, especially with snape. but also, with snape as a focal point for a spy on both sides, no one was really looking at lucius that closely.

and he was so well-connected he had access to VERY powerful people, why would he waste his time and take the risk with order meetings at grimmauld?

because his encounters with voldemort leave me doubting he wanted anything to do with voldemort's regime the second time around. definitely having dark mark regrets tm.

im not saying he was not pureblood supremacist because he definitely was, but i also think that he would be open, had his reputation not been that of a prominent death eater.

I did so enjoy our outing today. Observing Diagon Alley alone is always entertaining, but with you, my dear, it was wonderful.

I wanted to thank you as well for your tips and encouragement on the subject of apparation. You'll have to confirm during our next encounter, but I think I am improving still! I don't think anyone has mastered it the way you have, though.

In speaking with my parents, it would seem that my suspicions were correct. I do firmly believe they intend on arranging our marriage. As it were, with yours and your parents consent, I do still wish to ask your hand myself, properly.

It is late of the hour and I must try and get some rest. Very long day planned tomorrow.

I shall hold your past letters close, slipping them under my pillow as I do each night in hopes to cup your face, at least in my dreams, until finally you are with me once again so that I may look upon your beauty each and every morning and know that I am truly the luckiest wizard in existence.
