Well…. look who’s back! Yep… it’s me, I’m back, at least, as I am able to be here.

I have a whole new page and all, but fewer muses, at least, for now. I have a few more I may want to bring back.

Caden watched Emma visibly relax when they got home. He hadn’t seen that gorilla guy continue to follow them so he knew they were alright. “I’ll tackle the grumpy one. Though I will be in to give this one kisses goodnight.” Caden loved giving Avery a quick snuggle before bed and a little alone time with his littlest but he knew he’d have an easier time getting Ade down. Caden went after Ade helping her get dressed in his t-shirt. “Go hug mama and say goodnight then run back and we’ll snuggle.” He promised his daughter as she ran back out to her mother and tugged on Emma’s shirt. “Night mama!” Ade signed.

Emma offered a soft little laugh, “You like a challenge,” she half joked, though she didn’t think Adelynn would give him too much trouble. The little girl looked pretty tired. “After I get her down, I’ll come give Adelynn a kiss, too,” she assured, knowing they would hear about it in the morning if they didn’t each say goodnight and tuck her into bed. Taking Avery to the nursery, Emma let her rest in the stroller a little longer, fixing up the room, getting out pajamas and a clean diaper. She was about to pick up the infant when Ade ran into the room. Feeling the tug to her shirt, she turned, smiling, kneeling down and giving her a big hug and a kiss on the cheek, “Night, Ade, I love you,” she signed, “sweet dreams. I’ll check on you after I get your sister changed,” she promised before the toddler ran back to her own room. 

Caden leaned over and kissed his wife’s head. “I think our girls have had enough trick or treating anyways.” Adelynn was slowing down anyways. “I know but it’s okay, no one is going to hurt us.” Caden reached out and scooped Adelynn up in his arms. “Come on papa will carry you home.” He signed to his daughter as he carried her and smiled when Ade laid her head on his shoulder. He knew this would nearly put her to sleep by the time they got home. He just rested a hand on the small of his wife’s back as he led them back to their home. One inside he took the bag from Ade and set it down. “Okay go brush your teeth alright, then we’ll get some pj’s on and go cuddle in bed.”

Leaning into Caden a little as he kissed her head, she nodded, “I think so, too,” Emma agreed, Avery already fast asleep. She tucked her in, making sure she was warm enough, returning her focus to her husband as he signed. “I know, you would protect us,” she agreed, lifting up on her toes and pressing a kiss to his cheek. A more genuine smile formed as he scooped up their toddler, reaching over and rubbing Adelynn’s back as she snuggled into Caden. Walking back home, she tried to release the paranoia gnawing in her mind, but she still scanned around them several times. Arriving back, Emma relaxed visibly, locking the door. Adelynn rubbed her eyes, a tiny whine in her throat, “candy,” she signed. Emma shook her head, “We talked about this. No candy tonight, you can have some tomorrow.” The little girl huffed a little, but was too tired to argue, heading off to do as she was told. “You want to help Adelynn get ready for bed or Avery?” she offered.

Emma had her moments where she could be paranoid, sometimes mildly, sometimes a bit more than that. With Caden was typically when she was calmest, most relaxed. What had her more riled tonight was the fact it was Halloween. Most people were in costumes, and it was easy to feel like someone bad was lurking... like her step-father or someone he hired was lurking. Signing to her husband, as stealthily as possible, the brunette glanced up at Caden expectantly. It took her a moment to grasp the joke, only cracking half a smile before shaking her head. When he spoke again, she exhaled slightly, glancing back over then back to him. She was carrying Avery, snuggling the infant closer, reaching out to tap Adelynn’s shoulder so she wouldn’t get too far ahead. “Home sounds good,” she admitted, pausing, tentatively settling Avery into the stroller. “I’m sorry... sometimes I can’t help it, but I know we’re safe because you keep us safe.”

“Oh come on I am always lucky.” Nolan teased back but he then laughed softly. “Oh is that you being smart? I thought it was more you were stubborn.” He shot back playfully, but no he hadn’t been easily deterred from his pursuit of Jade. He had asked her out and kept warning her he wouldn’t stop asking with every no she gave him until he got that golden yes. “Hey enough, you finished and that’s all that matters. It doesn’t matter how long it took you.” He told her as he laughed. “Come on strip studying is very motivating.” He said laughing because it was true he’d hold kisses and his clothing as an incentive to study a bit more. “You got time babe, relish in one victory before undertaking another.”

“Are you?” Jade returned the teasing, nudging him with her leg against his. Another laugh fell, shrugging, “A little of both,” she half joked. Since then, she’d told him about Amelia’s biological father, Shawn, how the military seemed more important to him, and how he was never around because of it. Shawn tried, she knew that much, but he often broke promises to visit because something would come up with work. She thought Nolan would be like that, too, never there, and barely there when he was around, but she’d be wrong. A smile graced her lips, “Thanks,” she murmured with a vague shrug like it wasn’t a big deal, though it was, to her. “I think Amelia will be surprised when I tell her.” Another laugh fell, shaking her head, “Oh is it? Let me guess, for every right answer, you take off something?” she teased. “Alright,” she nodded, “See? You’re good at slowing me down when I’m running too fast,” or trying to run away, which she did that, at times, as well, too.

Nolan chuckled when Jade told him to pay attention. “You should be wearing something sexy, but you always look sexy babe.” He countered as he then smiled up at her as he reached out and playfully pulled her onto the bed. “So my girl is smart, that’s hot.” He told her with a grin. “Hey, you did the best you could, no one thinks any less of you. If you never were waiting tables we’d never met.” Nolan had been smitten with her the day him and his boys rolled into the place she worked. “But Congrats Jade, I’m proud of you. You should have told me though, I would have helped you study. I am quite the fun study buddy.” Nolan teased with a lazy grin, he was happy for her, glad that she was happy with herself as well.

Shaking her head, “If you’re lucky, maybe I will tonight,” she cocked a brow giving him an impish smirk. Jade laughed softly as he tugged her onto the bed, dropping down onto the soft surface, “You should have known I was smart from the beginning, after all, you had to ask me out more than once,” she teased, nudging his side. It wasn’t easy breaking through her walls and defenses, and she had so many. Shrugging, “I guess, I probably should have tried harder to finish back then,” though she wasn’t sure if she could have with having no real support system aside Amelia’s biological father who only stayed around the first year and a half before enlisting. That was part of what had her hesitant to date Nolan. “I suppose that’s true, lucky for you I was working,” she teased. “You? Study buddy? I doubt that. You probably wouldn’t have kept your hands off me long enough to study,” she joked, knowing she could be just as bad about that. “I guess I should figure out what I might want to study, I have no idea,” she admitted.

“No my receiver isn’t waterproof.” He said laughing softly, he knew he should take them off. But he would in a second. He groaned at her words. “Don’t make promises you can’t keep.” Theo told her as he took his receivers off and reached out of the shower leaving them on the counter. He licked his lips as he looked his wife over. “Because that sounds very tempting and very interesting. I have had a taste of you my love. I want more.” Theo knew they’d have to be careful or they’d end up with one on the way but there was something hot about how her body had gripped his cock earlier when he came. Theo leaned down to kiss Remy his hands slid over her ass giving her cheeks a squeeze as he let out a little muted growl against her lips.
