“You can come in if you want but pre-warning I am ill.” Mary stated sniffing. 

“Ewwww, I don’t want your nasty germs. That’s just gross. Why aren’t you in some kind of containment thingy, what is it the muggles call it?”

The male’s words just made her laugh even more. “Aw Xav, have I told you how much I love you lately?” She stated grinning. Another laugh erupted from her lips, she placed a hand against her stomach as it began to ache from laughing so much. “Oh come on there’s no injury you big baby.”  

“No, no you haven’t. And if I’m honest I’m having a little trouble believing it considering recent behaviour.” His pitch was still slightly higher than normal at the pain he was in. “No injury? No injury! Are you mad woman?”

“I do not believe you.” The blonde stated abruptly raising her brows at the male. “Though if you are being serious I would appreciate the help looking for the real owner.” 

“Hey now Blondie, there’s no need to be saying stuff like that.” He gasped with a fake frown. “You don’t know me.” He glanced to the floor as if her words actually hurt him. “I’m not sure I want to help you now.”

“It comes naturally. I do try to tone it down though.” She rolled her eyes.

“Oh you can tell. It’s a marvelous job you’re doing with it.”

Robin couldn’t help the laugh that fell from her lips, he could be a pain at times but he never failed to make her laugh. “Don’t be so dramatic Xav. You’ll live, I’m sure of it.” 

“You’re laughing at me? You bring me pain and then you laugh at me?” He stared at her in fake horror. “What do you know of dramatics? You can not talk considering you thought to inflict injury over a harmless prank.”

Elodie narrowed her eyes at the male getting confused. She may have been speaking English for a few years now but she still found herself getting confused or understanding things wrong which is why she was unsure whether she’d made the mistake or whether the male was teasing her. “You said that it was boring, oui?” Her accent was getting stronger, and she found herself slipping back into French as she got frustrated.

“No, no, I don’t recall saying that.” He shook his head and continued the clueless charade as if he hadn’t said a word. “That sounds far too mean, and not a thing like I would say.”

“Okay, so maybe I overreacted a little - can you blame me?”

“Yes, actually. Funnily enough I can.” He looked at her as if she were crazy. “And guess what, I am!” He exclaimed loudly as he finally gave in and sank to the floor in hopes of finding a more comfortable position. “I’m dying. You’ve killed me.”

A brow raised as she looked up at the blond in disbelief. “Perhaps you’re the one whose a little deaf. Tone deaf, that is.” 

“You are terribly rude.” He scowled at the brunette. “Are you always this joyous?”

“Well, you have just said that is boring, so why would you do it?” She asked raising a brow.

“I think you’re hearing things m’dear. I said no such thing.” He replied innocently.

“Maybe that’s what can explain the trouble the world is currently in.” Larissa joked. Of course, they knew all too well the stupidity that resulted in this war. “I don’t just do my own thing all day.” She shook her head, smiling slightly. “I have work, too, you know.”

“I thought that was a given anyway. It’s the only way that can justifiably explain the idiots actions and why they think they can get away with their behavior.” At her words he let out an exaggerated sigh and looked disappointed. “I never said that you did. I just said trade places so I can go off and do my own thing.” He pointed out smirking. “Work schmerk.”

Robin bit down on her lip feeling slightly bad as she saw her brother hunch over in pain. “And putting a dungbomb in my room for no apparent reason isn’t?” 

“Not to justify kicking me in the....y’know?!” He groaned still not able to straighten up. “Merlin, woman!”

The young witch gave the smile before pressing her lips into a thin line. “If it is all the same, I would rather return it to its owner.” 

“Well that’s just boring. How’d you know that I wouldn’t return it to it’s owner? I can do that.” 

“Ergh! Xav, you are so dead!” She shook her head narrowing her eyes at him. “I swear down, I will get you back for this you immature little sod!” Robin turned as if she was about to walk of before quickly turning to face him once again and kicking him in the groin.

He fell forward slightly as he hunched over in pain and let out a sharp cough, lifting his head to look up at his sister he simply glared at her as he wasn’t sure he could actually speak. “Merlin, Robin!” He bit out in pain. “Tad extreme don’t you think?”

His outburst, however unexpected, caused a smirk to find its way to her lips. Now things were getting interesting. “Then I’ll guess you’ll have to make that threat a promise, because I’m afraid many voices surpass the screeching I heard from you. You have my condolences, though.” 

Xavier held his hand up at the woman signalling for her to stop, "Screeching? Are you deaf? My dear woman, that was not screeching. I was perfectly in tune."

“Excusez-moi?” Elodie called out, quickening her pace to catch up with them. “You dropped this.” She told them holding out the object with a smile on her face. “It is yours, no?” 

“Nope.” He replied popping the ‘p’ as he smirked at the blonde. “But I’d be happy to take it off your hands for you.”
