for tagging spoilers - for weekly/episodic shows/podcasts/etc, i only tag spoilers for the most recent episode. if its a big plot event, like a character death, i give it an extra episode or two afterwards with spoiler tags. for books, i generally dont tag spoilers, and for movies, i tag spoilers for about a month after it comes out. i always tag with the format of "[x] spoilers", and usually will shorten the media title down to an acronym (i.e., fantasy high: junior year spoilers = "fhjy spoilers")

Are you going to come out of it with a Klein-level work? No. Dude was bonkers skilled. But I am here to tell you that if you've ever gone to Home Depot and shuffled through paint chips and been like "God, this is such a gorgeous color, I fucking love this color" and then immediately been like "...but I can't imagine painting a wall with it." and bought a can of soul-killing eggshell off-white or what the fuck ever, you absolutely can go pick up a $10 canvas from a craftstore and a $5 sample of that color and just hang 6 square feet of it on a wall and enjoy the fuck out of it.
For real, buds. If you see an artwork and you're like "Shit, I could have made that," that is a reminder that god can't stop you and probably neither can science.
stop calling people "clean" or "dirty," stop calling people stupid for having had unsafe sex or otherwise contracted an STI, stop fearmongering and playing up your disgust for a type of illness that the majority of people will contract at some point in their life, stop acting like regular testing isn't something that many many responsible people engage in, stop treating STIs as a moral taint and not a class of overwhelmingly curable (and in other cases manageable with treatment) infections, it is beyond obvious that this is less about genuine care for others and more about keeping alive the same smug sense of self-satisfaction that's been carrying you since middle school health class
i genuinely worry seeing how some of you talk about protection (which, to be clear, is great!) as the sole ward against a universally life ruining illness. if you're sexually active then it's more likely than not that at some point in your adulthood you or one of your partners will get a positive on a panel, when this happens the most likely outcome is that recent partners get phone calls and then everyone at significant risk goes into a clinic and gets a shot in the arm that kind of stings and then you don't have unprotected sex for like a week. ymmv depending on the infection and your relationship style and status. protection is cheap and a great option to reduce worry in your life but you are doing nothing to advocate its use by talking about STIs in the same fire-and-brimstone way your that your abstinence-only gym/sex ed teacher did
With a heavy heart, I come to you all with the news announced by close friends of Cat Frazier that she had passed away on Monday, June 29.
She had been running @animatedtext since 2012, with her impact on the internet SHAPING tumblr. If you have a years long history on this site, you’ve seen her art.
She ran a venue in Oakland called Oakland Secret, a punk venue where I’d vend at regularly as an artist. She made a safe space for queer artists, artists of color, and local furs too. I am forever grateful for her work both in the Bay Area creative scene and online, and am forever changed by the totality of her impact.

The blurb said the shot was taken in Granada, Spain, by Agneta Fondén. No other info, so I have no idea how old, etc. There's a game (from 1988) that uses a similar pattern on one of its pieces, but this could predate it by at least a thousand years — or not. But the pattern intrigued me, so I made a texture map and used Blender's geometry nodes (no generative AI) to set up a hexagon grid with random rotations for the tiles:
