Mosque or Masjid is a place specified by Muslims in which they offer pray and do other worships like reciting the Holy Quran and offering Nawafil etc. It is prohibited to get in the Masjid with shoes due to respect of the Masjid. So usually carpets are used to cover the floor of Masjid or Mosque. In every mosque, there must a directional point towards Mecca which is known by Mehrab. Masjid carpets generally contains a Mehrab on it. Many rugs also show one or more mosque lamps. These carpets come in type of rolls of width 4 feet and length of 100 feet just and length can be differs as indicated by the wide area of Masjid place. It is a prayer carpet made of red silk, embroidered with gilded silver threads representing floral designs in the style of Rococo and Baroque.
