she hadn’t expected his skin to come in contact with hers, to  feel such vivacity against such numb complexion though she gives a meek simper , with cheeks now flushed in vermilion hues as she taps the flower lightly as if to assure that it had been placed there and was not part of her imagination. soft titters arising from parted tiers as she looks downward shyly,                                                                    ‘ i - ah , grew it m’self , ‘ya know? ’ 

he lowers his hand slowly and allows it to fall by his side, dark hues falling to the ground a moment as he lets out a quiet laugh. he can’t keep a plant alive to save his life, so whenever someone says they’ve grown something, he’s usually slightly impressed. he looks back up at her and raises his brows, the corners of his lips curving upward into what looks like a forced smile. most of the time, his smiles are forced, all a part of his act, but she seems fragile and cute, and something about that piques his curiosity.

    “oh, well you know me...all about being FAIR.”

      he might be teasing, but that doesn’t stop him from shooting       the other a look. he knows he should let tate choose their       next “victim” but billy has people in mind, and he wants to off       them as soon as possible.

‘ mmm ’ she hums dulcet tones , a cheeky look arising atop ivory as she looks away from the others gaze ( oh how bright her cheeks must be! ) rocking back and forth atop laced heels , knees knocking together as she pipes up with intonation meek , ‘ i don’ know , maybe y’ should ask the flower.’  

he studies her for a moment, an almost chuckle parting his lips as he notices the heat rushing into her cheeks. “i don’t think the flower knows either…” he plays along, gaze once again falling from her face down to the flower. she seems so shy, and he finds himself focusing more on that than why exactly she thought of him when she found it. is it an excuse to talk to him? to give him a flower? maybe he’s taking it a tad bit to seriously.

he’s not sure what to do with it until he looks back up at her, and even then, he hesitates a moment before doing it. when the flower is brought up to her, his ring finger tucks a piece of fallen hair behind her ear and the carnation is gently placed over it.
