dear lizzy. i was reading max’s bio and suddenly realized that these two could be really fun. But let me ask you a thing. When the Monroes were rich, did they mainly live in va beach? or did they potentially also frequent new york? because if so, these two could’ve met then? if not, they could meet here now? because ashley is also rich and unattached and she could potentially be another person he tries to get money from?

but i could also see these two ending up being friends, perhaps? because they’re both really materialistic and that hasn’t really worked well for either of them? both just don’t really seem to realize it? and neither seems to realize that there are people out there who don’t love them. though for ashley is more that that’s how her parents raised her? she’s never really learned that backstabbing/people talking about you behind your back is a thing.

so these two have quite a lot in common and i could see them potentially discovering that? though, also, what do you have planned for max like long run? is any kind of redemption in the cards for him? because i kind of have something like that in mind for ashley. (like probably realizing harry is never going to love her and she can’t change him and going back to new york realizing that not all of her views of the world are correct.) so if you’re planning something like that for max maybe ashley could be of service?

so! i feel like these two could potentially be friends/acquaintances. ashley is from new york and was very much a member of ~high society up there so she could’ve met ian and lex at parties and things. i also feel like ashley used to not be quite as spoiled??? or, like, she didn’t act like it? i think that’s a ~newer development as an adult? so maybe she was more shy back in new york when she would’ve known ian?

SO EXCITED FOR THESE TWO. THEY ARE GOING TO BE SUCH CUTE FRIENDS. AHHHH. i’m thinking they’ve probably known each other for quite a while too??? maybe they were childhood friends or something? they’re the same age too so maybe they went to school together or something? did liz go to boarding school asp? because i think ashley might’ve? and maybe they were the queen bees of their school or something, ahaha.

i also think ashley might potentially pass off her coming to va beach as coming to see liz?? because she’s not going to tell people that she’s really here for harry. so maybe she’ll say that she’s in town to visit an old friend? which i think is also a big part of it, tbh. OH. MAYBE THEY’RE NEIGHBORS??? i could tooootally see ashley buying the house next door and thus seeing liz a lot??
