Howth Rd in Killester

The cars were driving fast there, particularly at the turn around between the neighboorhood commercial center and the Apple gas station. The sky was particularly open over there (you can almost see down to the bay from there), which I would usually appreciate, but this, connected to the fact that I was usually taking this path omw home as nonchalant as reluctant, was not necessarily the most pleasant. Yeah, that's the cars that made it terrible, the traffic in the evenings, the one rushing to the puddle and splashed on me the very first time I came here to visit the flat nearby.

Donnybrook Rd, Donnybrook

This remain gloomy to me, cold, damp; especially near the crossing of Pembroke Cottages, where the street is no longer arranged with trees and fancy garden. A grey surrounding of concrete, rushing cars and coaches; the unappealing shops with nothing for me to buy, the unafordable housings. The wind must play a big part too, in how unsecure and uncorfotable this place made me feel. A similar memory appears as well near Merrion Rd, just south the Bridge over Dodder. Up north along the street, it definitly feels better. But it's this very specific area that haunts me still, somehow, reminding me of the time I was living in Ranelagh, few blocks away. I could say few things about that place too.
