“I was told of your fliers near my shop~ And I found them near by~”

He blinks hearing the other talk of wanting to try some of his pastries.

*[They straightened up and continued]

*I have plenty! In fact... that’s why I wanted to visit because of your very darling cause for monsters... I sometimes wish I could do what you’re doing right now but... I’ll take the next best thing!

There was a small sigh from him hearing their voice. He clears his throat and adjusts his tie,even if they were not speaking face to face.

“I’ve thought I made it clear~ Please do not post adverts near my shop~ I have a sign set up outside~”

*O-oh! Hello there! D-don’t worry! I’m just doing a run and... I remembered not to bring my fliers this time. I promise.

*[He sounded a little more confident this time around- and even a little proud. He never thought of Florent as competition. After all, the dark prince always wanted to make sure he meant well.]

“Huh? You’re...back?”

*O-of course!... this little snout of mine can smell chocolate from miles away! If only chocolate beans could grow down here...

*O-of course not!... I have nothing to be mad about.. especially not at you...

The very short girl squeezed onto the dark prince as hard as she possibly could, releasing soft sobs with her every breath that she released. All she really wanted to do was just hold onto him and never let go. Ellie kept her arms at his back, slightly clinging to his green cloak as her entire body trembled in his embrace.

“I-I missed you too… I really did… I’m so so sorry… I didn’t mean to be gone for as long as I was, I swear…! I-I just… A lot happened and… I’m really really sorry for not checking in on you and so many others sooner..! I’m really sorry, Ralsei..!”

Ellie let her tears run down her face, her heart aching from the pain she had been holding for such a long time. She truly did feel horrible for being gone as long as she had. The poor thing had been so afraid that she had been forgotten by those she cared for since she was gone such a long time. She had believed the lies her own mind had fed her for so long.

“I swear I’m really really sorry..! I promise, I-I won’t be gone for so long e-ever again..! I’m so sorry…! P-please forgive me…!”

She couldn’t help but sob and stutter like a child, just so relieved to be near her precious friend once more. Ellie had truly thought he or some others wouldn’t have cared if she returned. But seeing Ralsei cry… It broke her heart. She never wanted to see him like this; or anyone else, for that matter.

*[The dark would gently rub at Ellie’s back while the poor human expressed her remorse and he would start to shake his head. Gently disagreeing before his voice came out in response]

*Ellie no... no, no! You don’t have to apologize... I always knew you’d come back I just... I’m so happy to see you again.  

*[He’d break his speech off before he’d resume sobbing and holding Ellie closer to himself before he blubbered]
