He's sitting on the couch watching y/n tidy up, talk to themselves, hum out of tune, eventually the groan about how tired they are and the flop down face first on the couch

"Your card declined"

"Oh! My bad-"

A scream echos through your home causing you and the delivery boy to look back into the now dark apartment

"Is everything okay?" The delivery boy asks, y/n pauses for a moment not sure what to say or do

"Yeah... here, let me pay with this-" you gasp feeling something slither around your feet, slowly coiling up and around your body, looking down you see, what you can only assume is beetlejuice in the form of a giant black and white striped snake

The delivery boy screams at the sight of the two of you

Beetlejuice now fully wrapped around you, leaving your head and shoulders free, his head resting on your shoulder, even in this snake form he still kept his face

Beetlejuice gives you a reassuring squeeze

"Boo"

And that was all it took for the poor guy to drop the food and run

Beetlejuice was pleased as punch, he saved you, at least that's what he assumes
