#1 v!Owen understander

He doesn't get geared up even though he had more than half the session last week of knowing he was going to be put into the arena. He thinks everyone hates him because they wouldn't let him take a blessing without a fight and cannot seem to comprehend that the reason it was so messy that specific time is because it was the first blessing and no one knew what it did yet. Now that they know, they don't want to fight over it as much. He doesn't seem to be able to read other people's wants and motivations at all.

Now we have the context of what occurred in episode 2, I collected all of the episode 3 vague tweets together and here's my list of potential events

Something went horribly wrong in the featherholders camp. With Apo's "greek tragedy", Owen's "I hate being right" and Sausage's "I'm sorry" , I can only assume that Owen predicted something bad happening, was correct, and after the events of episode 2, I'm assuming this is Apo going into the arena. With Sausage's tweet, it seems that either he was the opponent, or he has something to do with Apo being voted in.

Shelby had a good episode I'm assuming (maybe she somehow got put into the running for the arena and missed out on going in)

Drift's one scares me. Either it's to do with the aftermath of her death, or (and I really hope not) she died again

Pyro's I can see being related to the featherholders, once again hinting at something going horribly wrong for that alliance

I can't tell if Abolish's is sarcastic or not (as it makes it sound like he wasn't involved in the events, despite him somehow being at the center of everything last episode) but from what I've heard he actually used one of his abilities in episode 3, so I'm assuming this relates to him forging either armour or weapons as his abilities states (from the singular frame it was seen in his episode)

Sleepy Birb

Martyn and Drift slowly realizing their connection to each other is SO important to me. here's a little timeline of their newfound alliance so far:

-they don't realize what they have in common at first, but when Martyn learns that Drift uses a finely crafted bow that's "gold like sunlight" from Pyro, he instantly recognizes her as Apollo's Champion, saying "I should probably have a conversation with them. Our Gods are siblings... I don't know how much familiarity comes into these effects, but it's gotta mean something."

-they finally have a proper conversation, but they're hesitant at first. do the familial ties of their Gods mean anything? neither of them seems to have an answer. but Martyn points out, "My worry is that other people will make an assumption either way. Everyone's quick to draw conclusions, as I've learned first-hand."

-and then, the olive branch. Martyn says "We've gotten on swell. I think you're peppy, I think you're fun. I've no problem with you and I would... I'd back you in conflicts currently, and I would like to keep it that way." and Drift replies, "I would absolutely love to keep it that way... maybe during this time we can keep an eye on each other, and back each other up when things get a little bit rough out there."

-their alliance is tentative in the beginning, but there's an undercurrent of hope, with an agreement to share information and look out for the other. Drift shows Martyn her bow and admits she's yet to use it, unsure of what kind of abilities it might have. they make plans to sneak away and test it out as soon as the fight in the Arena begins, keeping its power a secret between them.

-Drift defends Martyn against Apo in front of a crowd, and Martyn lists Drift as one of his only true "allies, potentially to become friends".

-but they never get to leave the Arena and practice archery together, because one single vote gets Drift sent into the fray. Martyn can only watch as she fights for her life, and through all of it, Drift never pulls out her bow to defend herself.
