Tommy leaned into Oliver’s touch on instinct, closing his eyes instantly feeling some of his stress melt away. Finals always managed to take their toll on Tommy, this round more so than any other, the added weight of what he’s supposed to do after graduation weighing on his shoulders. Tommy let out a small laugh at Oliver’s words, opening his eyes as he focused on Oliver. “Graduations in two weeks.”
Oliver smiled when his eyes caught on Tommy’s. Most days lately, it seemed impossible not to. They were finally done with being undergrads; he had a spot at one of the most prestigious grad programs in his field; and he had a boyfriend that somehow managed to both infuriate him and make him the happiest he had been in a long time. It felt like somehow, some way, things were finally coming together. His dreams were falling into place. “Don’t tell me you’re about to get all sentimental about this place. I thought that wasn’t your thing.”
