CHARACTER: Toby Rogers
-I’ve brought this up in my last post but Toby is very delusional in general and it's even worse when it comes to romance. It doesn’t take much for him to be convinced that you're head over heels for him, especially since he didn‘t have a good image of what love is supposed to look like growing up, so treating him like a normal human being will have him sure you're madly in love with him.
-So when you show him nothing but patience and curiosity he's infatuated by you - you don't constantly brush him off like your brother, you acknowledge his existence and go out of your way to learn more about him, and not only that but you're so kind and sweet to him! He can‘t be imagining this right? You're surely obsessed with him the same way he is with you.
-Toby goes on for the longest time wholeheartedly believing that you two are in a relationship, just haven‘t verbally confirmed it because you're too shy or something but why would you need to do that when you already act like a couple? (you don't, he's just delusional). It'll be confusing for you at times because he'll get all in his head and explode after you interact with another person for too long, or pay attention to someone else for longer than he'd like, because he'll start yelling at you and arguing that you're being unfaithful.
-Genuinely believes you can do no wrong, he puts you on such a high pedestal that nothing you do will ever upset him because he'll find the most insane ways to justify anything you do (that heavily depends on his mood though, Toby's thinking is very black and white but he comes back crawling to you no matter what happens).
-Constantly makes jokes that you and Tim aren't related because you're an angel compared to him, it ticks him off but at the same time Toby can breathe within his vicinity and it'll have Tim huffing and puffing so who are we to decide lmao.
-He sees you as a lover and an older sibling figure all at once… not in an incestuous way though. He's probably made a joke about that before but then dropped it quickly after realizing that not everyone would laugh at an incest joke, especially his crush.
-What I mean by that is he feels safe enough to let go and let you take care of him, basically he feels loved and cared for by you. You're someone he'd seek out before making decisions or anything really, he needs your approval for everything he does.
-The relationship dynamic is… complicated to say the least, even Tim and Brian have stopped questioning whatever is going on between the two of you.
-God forbid he ever disappoints you, he'd actually whimper like a kicked puppy. I'm spreading pathetic wet dog Toby propaganda here and you'll all listen to me.
-I’m torn between Tim being somewhat… supportive? of Toby's fondness towards you, and absolutely hating it. If it were anyone else he probably wouldn’t give a fuck, maybe he'll give him some relationship advice because no matter how old Toby is he'll always see him as a young boy who's still not ready to face the world yet, but considering you're his sibling he'd probably want someone more stable than Toby for you. And also to keep you as far away from this whole Slenderman thing as possible but considering the fact that you live with them now it's nearly impossible to hide that part of their lives from you.
-He'd probably try to step in before things escalate but Toby is one persistent guy and he'll never let anything get in the way of his happiness. Tim doesn’t understand how hard he'd fought to finally have one good thing in his life, one good person who isn’t disgusted of him, so he won‘t let him distance you two no matter how hard he tries.
-It doesn‘t take a lot honestly, there‘s no denying that Tim has a soft spot for the boy even if he annoys him more often than not and you are the only one left in his family.
-If you're still oblivious after all that I don‘t know what to tell you, it's painfully obvious to the point where even Tim and Brian are trying to set you up together.
-Small things like running a couple errands and leaving you and Toby alone in the cabin, or suggesting you two take a walk in the forest to "make sure there‘s no intruders", they're always raising a brow and nudging each other when Toby starts acting all lovey dovey, quick to excuse themselves when Toby starts feeling bold with you.

as you lie on top of jeff, your skin sticking to his, the faint smell of cigarettes wafts through the air as it stirs with your perfume and sticks to the curtains. the digital clock on your bedside table reads 2:34am, but neither you or jeff are willing to go to sleep; the two of you would much rather drown in each other's proximity.
"you're so fucking annoying," jeff utters, his voice seemingly laced with exasperation, but you know better than that, so you smother his face in wet kisses as some sort of feedback. when you pull back, jeff cups your face. despite the harsh and vile history behind his coarse hands, his touch still feels tame. you let out a huff and let your hands travel down to the hem of his shirt. "can i take it off?" jeff nods. he'll say yes regardless, so what's the point of asking?
pulling off the cloth over his head, your eyes land on the array of scars plastered all over his torso. some are cigarette burns, some are gashes, most are self inflicted. running your hands over the keloids, jeff looks at you with a dazed face. he looks so beautiful like this—the pale glow coming from the window washes over his modified features so elegantly; you'd never guess that he's a serial killer.
you latch your lips onto his neck, flicking out your tongue to taste his sweat. "fffuck...." he hisses out. soon after painting his neck with hickeys, you start moving lower. your lips finding their way to his scars, licking a big stripe up the cut across his chest. "what....what the fuck are you doing?" he meant for it to sound assertive, but it just comes out in a pathetic whine instead.
you unwillingly remove your lips from his skin "do you want me to stop?"
a beat of silence follows.
"don't stop."
after hearing his reply you beam up at him and immediately went back to kissing his scars, your lips ghosting over the keloids near his chest. sticking out your tongue, you lick the scars on his arm and give them small kisses.
soon after you place his hands on your cheek, your lips ghosting over his wrist. "i love you..." you murmur against his skin, like it was a secret.
"whatever," jeff grumbles in return.

-I fear you're just drawing this man in even more rather than scaring him away - Toby is fucked up alright, he holds onto any crumb of love and appreciation he can get from anyone around him with a bruising and unrelenting grip. Treating him like a human being is enough to have him head over heels for you, like he'd literally fall in love with a cashier if they brushed their fingers against Toby's for like a split second when handing him change, that's how deprived and delusional he is.
-I should really talk more about Toby's fucked up side because if you're already extremely obsessed with him then you've done most of the hard and dirty work because in any other case, Toby would be a teeny tiny bit manipulative and hear me out on this - if he can have it his way, he’d convince you to cut the rest of society from your life, you don‘t need friends and family when you have him! He can be anything and everything you want all at once. He'd rather you give him your full undivided attention, his jealousy issues often spark arguments. And I don't mean any of that in a… controlling abusive way even though that's what it sounds like, he's just so pathetic and insecure he's afraid that one day you'll finally wake up and realize you deserve better than him, and replacing him is gonna be real fucking easy, at least in his opinion.
-Like you can mention a conversation you had with someone you know around him and Toby would get noticeably quiet and pouty, remembering that he's not the only person in your life makes him upset. You're quite literally his everything. His love is very raw, passionate, and obsessive - he is not normal about you at all.
-So if you're doing all of those things without him having to work for it? He's in heaven.
-I think the only time you'd truly freak him out is if you say anything that remotely hints at you knowing about his past, I know that Toby technically can't remember anything that happened but his body didn‘t forget, the mention of certain details is enough to flip his mood like a light switch even if he doesn’t exactly understand why he's feeling or reacting this way.
-So yeah that‘s the only time where he'd not tolerate your behavior, anything else is fair game.
-If anything he'd encourage it by purposely leaving some of his belongings in places where you'd see them so he can notice when you take stuff, makes him more giddy because he's aware of your little collecting habits and when they happen.
-I know that they're all crazy criminals with… questionable tendencies themselves but the other creeps have pointed out your weird behavior to Toby but he genuinely doesn’t give a fuck, i'm telling you this man is right where he wants to be.
-I imagine Toby to be the type of guy who'd do anything his partner asks him to do without even thinking about it, like he doesn’t hesitate whatsoever, so getting him to distance himself from anyone who got too close for your liking is fairly easy. Like you don‘t even have to bother resorting to physical violence with anyone because he'd listen to you without any trouble.
-He’d get all giggly and flustered finding the sticky notes that you leave all around the place to express your unhealthy devotion to him. He has designated a spot for your notes on the wall beside his bed so the first thing he can do as soon as he opens his eyes in the morning is remember your unwavering love for him.
