Angel Velazquez had always known they was born to shine. As a child they always stood out, blinging out their school uniform that would put figure skaters to shame and attempting to reenact the barricade scene from Les Mis during recess. Though the other children and adults never fully embraced the gem they had. His mother reminded him that it would all be alright, no one exciting ever had it easy. They adopted the stage name Angel Chiffon ( because the mononym Angel had already been taken and he didn’t want to spend years working to beat that google search ) and eventually found his place within the drag sphere. Despite only 18 years old, he was ready to take over the New York night scene with nothing but a fake ID and a dream. They eventually made a name for themselves being known for their variety show every Thursday night over in Bushwick.
