It’s common knowledge that paul had a boner during an interview on the Scottish show Roundup in 1963.  Let’s examine this clip in-depth.

The first thing Paul tries is constantly shooting his hand down to cover his crotch.  

Yet he still can’t control his horniness (see him staring at the host’s face intently).  Paul’s crotch-covering methods are even rubbing off on John.  [In fact, there is no evidence to suggest that John is not in the same predicament as Paul, but that’s for another day.]

Paul, I think this is the opposite of what you want to do.

Paul then tries the not-so-subtle glance down to check the goods.

And for some reason, this ending had to be done more than once (see photo of them in different positions).  Paul is obviously having an awkward time using anything nearby, including Ringo, to hide his crotch.
