At 8pm she was already standing in front of the restaurant of her choice, and as soon as she saw him get out of his car, her eyes were once again completely fixed on Young Joon. Well, all the attention was. Once he stood in front of her, and now that he was within her reach, slender fingers were already wrapped around his tie as she tried to fix it. “It was a bit unfolded at the end. Now, you are safe to go.’’ And then they walked in, taking the table reserved for them.

As if walls had broken down, reasonable and professional distance that they used to share had been destroyed. He couldn’t help his heart flutter from the way her fingers stroke his tie to fix it, short inches that they share dangerous as tension built up within their small atmosphere. Only left the man less to speak, quietly watched her as she finished, no plans of withdrawing. His gaze shifted not long from his tie to her countenance, didn’t think she’d be as attractive as she was from afar. By the looks of it as he studies her character, she seems to be the meticulous type, which compliments well of how he had dealt with work. Thankful enough she had met her sooner than he had expected.

“You’re probably correct when it comes to the culinary history of chicken compared to wine~ I just think it’s fascinating that there are people who dedicate their lives to studying about a particular food to figure out how it’d taste the best from the countless of ways to prepare it. From the hundreds of chicken dishes I’ve likely eaten, the number doesn’t even come close to the actual number of dishes that exist out there. I’d make it a goal whenever I get an opportunity a country to taste one of its chicken-based dishes. Not only is it one of the best ways to get to know a culture, it’s the perfect excuse to eat chicken as usual. Though at this point, I’m not really a professional chicken either. I’m just your average guy with a burning love for chicken.” 

It hadn’t even registered in his mind that he was talking this much about his favorite food in a length that could have made his members divert to another topic for they already knew too much about his love for chicken in the first place.

Her words of praise and encouragement made Jinki bashfully bow his head in gratitude. “Ah, thank you so much. I actually feel the same way. I never expected myself to talk this much, since I honestly don’t have the ability to chat a great length. It just shows how much I enjoy this conversation a lot as well.” Perhaps it also had to do with the instance of “clicking” with her that made it possible for them to be comfortable in each other’s company even in their first meeting.

He chuckled at the image of a group of fans dressed in coats asking for his autograph. There was something endearing about it that made Jinki let out a soft chuckle. “I wouldn’t mind. I think it’d make their day as well. I’d want to thank for their continuous hard work~ You and the rest of the hospital staff are the so-called ‘unsung’ heroes in society.” He tilted his head, lips parting into a lopsided smile “Though it almost sounds like I’d make an impromptu fanmeeting inside a hospital.”

Hues had all focused onto him, listening intently to what words expelled from his petals. Interest apparent on features, all knowing that his brain had attracted her all the same -- how careful and polite he spoke like an intellect she never expected from him in contrary with him to be a well-known idol.    “   You know, that’s actually a fulfilling life for a man who has a burning love for chicken. It seems as an achievable dream that I couldn’t achieve lately myself just because I’m tied down to things that needs me, but that doesn’t mean I’d never had to do it. I love how you elaborate all that to me though, and fair enough you made me hungrier than I ever was.  ”      Chuckles rolling off from her tongue, her wonder and attraction still intact. He could listen to him all day if it not forbid for her duties.

“   I’m just as the same side as you. I don’t see myself as a conversationalist if I’m out of work, just that it excludes the work since you need to talk in order to get a good diagnosis of something, but for someone I’ve met for awhile you’ve got me sparked my interests.  ”      She’d like it to put it out there for him that she feels the same, alongside being vague as she was still hesitant of how she feels about him knowing that they only met within a few days.
