hestia wasn’t normally a violent person, she employed her acidic wit more than she should and had been lucky so far not to get herself hexed. it was one of the reasons she’d joined the dueling club too, she wasn’t going to let herself be vulnerable, being a muggleborn already put her at a disadvantage. but she couldn’t abide by being called a mudblood, or letting a younger student be called one either. before she knew it her fist collided with the other students jaw. she was sure the whole courtyard heard the crack. “fuck, that hurt.” she was also sure her hand was broken, but it was worth it.

she'd never been hit before, as far back as she could remember narcissa black had never had hands raised against her. the seconds after the blow seemed to play in slow motion, one hand snatching up to her jaw, the other reaching for her wand. ❝ you bitch ❞ she spat crimson leaking from her lips. ❝ you FILTHY blooded bitch! ❞ she jabbed her wand at the older girl all sorts of curses flying through her mind but she didn't quite have the courage to cast any...
