JONAH.
jonah stopped in his tracks to stare at her and raised his eyebrows, taken aback by the sudden change in her behavior. “okay?” he agreed, still somewhat perplexed and before he knew it, noelle was already clinging to him, to which he could only shake his head with a laugh. staying quiet and alert while they took their first few steps into the warehouse, jonah could feel the suspense starting to get to him a bit. “maybe bringing a flashlight would’ve been a good idea,” he still joked in an attempt to lighten the mood.
noelle was well aware of what she was doing. the closeness in proximity was her exact intentions. she would take any opportunity she could in order to be close to jonah. the only reason she even suggested going into the haunted house was for this reason alone. the further they walked away from the entrance, the faster her heart began to race. “haha... yeah...” she appreciated his lightheartedness. but with the realistic decorations scattered across the house, she couldn’t tell if this clown was a real person or not. until the clown popped up, screaming in noelle’s face. “AHH!” she squeezed onto jonah’s arm, closing her eyes shut. “you aren’t her if i can’t see you!”
