river is a sea creature that’s meant to teach kids about the dangers of pollution and the importance of keeping the oceans clean, but because it doesn’t have legs it has to be kept in a huge aquarium exhibit! one day bassie goes to visit, and the two talk a little and it issssss love at first sight. kidding not really but also kinda is. anyways river gets really sad that it can’t keep seeing bassie whenever it pleases and instead has to rely on when she comes to visit, so river wishes and wishes that it can go see bassie…. and one day, as river goes to sleep, a shooting star flies past! river wishes upon this star, and the next day, river wakes up with legs, washed up outside of the exhibit :) it’s a little shy to approach bassie at first, but the two hit it off andddd yeah . funny how i have more lore written for coralgarden (it’s been like 5 months) than i do for lilypad (over a year)
