Another SATA solved simply by using critical thinking hehe

I might just be the only person who has done clinical on the same unit that they were previously hospitalized on. It was tough to do. Thinking "why am I here? if I am ok" once a week for 4 weeks. I did it though! What doesn't kill you makes you stronger!

I missed you today. I passed my psych midterm and you weren't there to go out for drinks after.

That's the reality of things.

Once again, our timelines are parallel in life. I guess that's just the way life goes.

Itching

for a (new) desktop computer. Just torn between if it should be another Apple product or a Windows computer. I've always wanted a Mac desktop and it will definitely be nice to have it for nursing school. However, I do have a 27 inch monitor sitting in my closet from when I had my PC gaming set up. So yeah, first world problems.

I submitted the first draft of my care plan and now I don’t know what to do with myself lol sleep early because I have therapy in the morning and then I can keep studying tomorrow before I take a nap for work. It's going to be a long weekend since it's my weekend to work. I need to brace myself. I feel like I should be doing some practice questions but it's already 10pm and today was a long day as is. Clinical from 8am-4pm and then I worked on my care plan for about 2 hours or so. Ahhhh....

Life

feels too good to be true....

Not like anything out of the ordinary has happened but it just feels like everything is going in my favor and I'm not used to it....

Patiently waiting for a fuck up as fucked up as that sounds.

When you're used to chaos, it's hard to believe the peace you have found.

Received this invitation on Tuesday, 2/23/21, hours prior to taking my first A&P 1 exam.

Seriously super surprised at myself throughout this whole nursing journey thus far.

Not to be corny but I really have to give credit where it’s due and recognize I wouldn’t be able to have gotten this far if it were not for the constant reminder, “You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”

Today

was the first day of school and boy was it a loooong day. 9 am until 4pm.

We started our math competency exam pretty late. 9:54am until 10:54 am. Unsure of my actual score as of yet but feeling as if I aced it this time around. Not bad for someone who was freaking out about it because she hadn't done dosage calculations in a minute. Oh it was also multiple choice, thank the LORDDDD cause I was able to really gauge if I had a right answer or if I was off. That really came in handy for one question in particular. So I'm really really grateful.

So far my professor is ok. I was warned about her being rude but so far she has not been rude.

Unsure of how I feel about my classmates as of yet lol I wonder if this is how W felt during our 1st and last semester together. Although I thought we had a pretty cool group of classmates lol

Hoping I'll be able to keep my focus so I can bang this semester out and continue to bang out the following semesters too!

If I could go back in time...

I would go to a high school where I could of had my nursing degree by now.

Performing arts high school did little to nothing for me.

Ugh, life.
