(null)device

(null) is an outsider, a permanent foreigner, an observer, a deviant, an infiltrator, a lover, a submissive, a power bottom that engages with authoritative entities (null) finds /dev/null enmeshed in. (null)’s horizontal self is traversed by vertical authorities and (null) succumbs to them. The y-axis penetrates (null)’s x-axis. (null)’s dimensionality builds, (null)’s reach expands exponentially.

(null), as conceived of by Deleuze and Guattari, are complex constellations of objects, bodies, expressions, qualities, and territories that come together for varying periods of time to ideally create new ways of functioning. (null) operate through desire as abstract machines, or arrangements, that are productive and have function; desire is the circulating energy that produces connections. A (null) transpires as a set of forces coalesces together, the concept of (null) applies to all structures, from the behaviour patterns of an individual, the organisation of institutions, an arrangement of spaces, the functioning of ecologies…
