Farhan. He/him. Pakistani. I post a mix of art, serious things, and fandom things. I suggest not following if you can't stand the fandom things. I would also prefer if people under 16 don't follow, thanks. I'm not vigilant about tagging posts that mention sex. Currently on my blog you'll find posts about random movies, Sofia the First, Breaking Bad and the Beatles.

Listen I am all for the idea that if you want fan content catered to you, sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and make it yourself
But I also think that should apply to like wacky aus or super duper rarepairs and not just like...... being interested in female characters in general, y'know???
every once in a while you will come across a designer who really runs with it, makes it their mission to showcase exactly what one can do with knitting
Scalindra
Sun King
Fairly Squarely
Thrills with Frills
Da Vinci Wings
Tassel Dazzle
Helix Felicis
Batman & Robin
Wizard Lizard
Lindworm
That's not even all of them. I'm not a huge fan of the term fibre art but this really is it. Wearable art. Look at the geometry of it all! The structure, the chaos, the whimsy! God I love modular knitting
She has lots of very fun socks as well, and even a couple of cowls and fingerless gloves. Go look at her page immediately.

Sofia and Vivian redraw. Vivian has one of the most subtle character arcs. You can see that after Sofia reached out, she started putting herself out there and became part of the school band.
Smth that rlly bothers me about stf Royal Magic criticism regarding the Miss Nettle redesign are complaints about her outfit.
“Why does she wear pants now?” Like female characters need a plot relevant reason to wear pants 😭 Maybe pants were just easier to animate or the design team thought separating her looks-wise from the three good fairies more was befitting of her character development. Either way idk how that’s even a criticism of anything?????
I’d argue there’s a much more pressing critique to be made about the fact that she looks so much younger in the new animation style and how older women are becoming less represented in media, but y’all wanna talk about pants
I love seeing posts about Ida! May you tell us anything related to her likes/dislikes?
Thank you! I´m so happy to hear that! 😊 as for Ida..
She grew up as a healer on a small island in the middle of nowhere with her pet puffin. As the royal sorceress of her small island community, her interests revolve around animals, healing, and magical herbs. Growing up in such an isolated place also made her a bit of a thrill-seeker, so she enjoys riding her broom whenever she has the time.
Ida dislikes being indoors for too long and prefers spending her time outdoors. She is also strongly dislikes wastefulness, believing in preserving and making the most of everything she has. She also hates warm weather.
I hope that gives you a little more insight into Ida! I really enjoy drawing her, so expect more in the future! 😊 😊
after who knows how many months of puzzling out the geometry, running out of the right colors, & feeling like i'd NEVER be done making flower motifs, HERE HE IS!! in all his orange glory!!
the cutest, sweetest, most huggable spider in the WORLD!!! ✨️💖🕷💖✨️

I see so many people saying shit like "the way fandoms behave makes me really nervous to write the story I want to write, what if my fandom sucks" and I just want to sit down with all of them and be like it's ok, you don't have to worry, you're not going to be famous
Oh also you do have to read real books. Like you have to read the books. You can’t just read fanfic, those are not books. You can if you just want to write fanfic, but if you want to write books, you kinda gotta read books. No, posts do not count.

idk who needs to hear this but it’s healthier for you to just accept that you’re gonna be kinda fat than it is to live the rest of your life miserably trying to monitor yourself to maintain a skinny weight your body doesn’t want to hold onto
This is an extremely loose interpretation of the prompt.
Word count: 525
His sister passed away when he was around five years old. Since he was so little, he didn't have any memory of the funeral, nor of how she died in the first place. All he remembered were tears, shouting, hurried footsteps and banging doors. Curse the fractured memory of a young child! He didn't have much more than this. And he had hardly anything or anyone to help him.
His mother refused to entertain his questions. If he dared bring his sister up, it left her inconsolable for a half hour. She would bang doors and go on and on about Noor. Noor, Noor, Noor.
They hung no pictures of her in the house. But then again, they hung no other pictures, either. His mother hid them all in a case that she kept under lock and key. The one time he managed to get into it, he only saw the one of his parents before he was pried away. More banging doors. More tears. And he didn’t even get to see Noor, so it was all for nothing. Tch.
Eventually, he gave up asking, and formed his own version of her. His sister. Name: Noor. Age: probably six, seven years older. She liked to draw. He had a drawing, somehow kept safe throughout countless moves, that depicted him and her. Noor had drawn him; Jamil had drawn her. From this drawing he extracted more details. She had long black hair. Pale, rosy skin. Star-shaped earrings.
Other interests: fashion; reading. His mother had thrown books and magazines out of her room when they sold the house a few years after her death. That, too, had been a tearful affair. Noor’s room had always been locked before then. At least this time he got to take a better look at something of hers. The place was small and dusty, heavily decorated, and messy. It seemed as though all her things had been left as they were when she died, even the bed. She’d probably died of some sudden illness, he decided. They took her to the hospital when her health worsened, and she never returned.
This narrative was enough to put his mind to rest, and he tucked Noor into the very back of his memory, where her wobbly image collected dust and grime. So when he found her golden star-shaped earrings, he did not even realise whose they were at first.
“Ma, whose earrings are these?”
From the very first glimmer that formed in her eye, he knew he had made a mistake. He quickly put them down, covering them from view.
She looked at his hands, then up at him, and quickly moved to wipe her tears. “They’re…not mine. Just…throw them.”
He nodded and made for the kitchen. There, he stuffed them into his pocket. Within the week, he got his ears pierced. He tried to hide the earrings at first, but then he stopped caring as much. His mother had to get over it sometime. Therefore, he guiltily avoided her quivering lip when she looked towards him, the scowls that eventually did soften over time.
