MAYA WATCHED AS the boy moved around the kitchen, tapping her hand on the side of her leg, a nervous habit that she had. Would it be weird for them to have SEX? Sure, they were really close and the family thought of him as apart of the Matlin clan but he wasn’t. Although she couldn’t really tell what he was thinking, she was hoping that he would at least consider the idea of them having sex. There were other people that he could have done it with but she felt that with Zig, it would be special, maybe DIFFERENT. Maya was able to trust Zig with anything and everything especially after Cam. Rolling her eyes, Maya nodded, “Well yeah, I am, why else would I be asking you?” She asked sarcastically, feeling a sense of regret for asking such a question. These things were supposed to come natural and yet, the blonde was trying to plan losing her virginity. When she was with Miles, things just didn’t feel natural and she couldn’t see losing something so special to someone she didn’t have a certain CONNECTION with. Waiting for a response, Maya looked down in an embarrassment. “I mean, if you don’t want to, that’s totally fine. I just.. I really don’t even know why I asked you. It’s not like you’re the only one I could have done it with. Wait, I didn’t mean it like that.” She rambled on and bit her lip slightly. 

ZIG EYED THE BLONDE suspiciously, wondering if this was just a prank she was pulling, a dare she’d received from Grace or Tiny since they both loved to mess with him so much. The scariest part was, she didn’t seem like she was joking, so she was either serious or had one hell of a POKER FACE -- he wasn’t really sure which one he would’ve preferred. As the girl began to ramble on nervously, Zig frowned, watching her grasp at strays as if she was trying her hardest to save face. “Geez, Matlin, you REALLY know how to make a guy feel special, huh ??” Zig spoke sarcastically, giving the blonde a teasing grin to lighten the clearly awkward atmosphere. When it came to sex, Zig wasn’t exactly a virgin, but he wasn’t the most SEASONED guy in the world either. The idea of taking Maya’s virginity, especially after all they’d been through over the last few years of their ROLLER COASTER friendship, seemed weird. He wasn’t sure he was prepared for that kind of responsibility. “What about your mom’s famous No Hanky Panky rule ??” he questioned, thinking about all the progress he’d made in the Matlin house. The last thing he needed was to be homeless... AGAIN.

“ y-yeah… i just thought…after the handcuff thing… you still want to be around me ??  i was a little harsh… ”

“ i mean, sure, it was a little harsh for, but i kinda deserved it for bailing on our plans like that. ”
