Here’s a coded mock-up of a new premade skin I’m working on! I’m dabbling with some responsive web design on this one, so we’ll see how it goes.

This skin features clean lines, a muted color palette, and skin elements that change color depending on the user that is signed in or posting. It comes with full HTML templates. I designed it small for our small screen folks out there.

Sidebar is static, but I can make it push or toggle, if needed. :) 

This skin also comes with free installation! I will import the XML files and add the filters for each member group, all you have to do is provide the colors.

The profile, mini-profile, and post-row allow space for 31 fields (7 of which are for auto-resizing and cropping images.)

As I’m nearing the completion of my first premade skin for sale, I’ve been doing some thinking about what I charge. Not just because $75 per premade is an undercut to the market, but also an undercut to myself.

That said, I am changing the flat fee for premades from a straight $75.00 to a range, starting at $75USD and capping at $200USD.

This covers the range of premades I will make — simpler, more streamlined premades will fall on the cheaper end of the spectrum, while ones I’ve put a little more soul into will fall along the higher end of the spectrum.

I apologise if this seems like a ‘money grab’, but I also want to sell my craft for what it’s worth. I promise that I will populate a skin for each tier of the range at some point.
