Monster Loving Chaos

My interpretation of how the Knocker could look.

I do love the more human way many people draw him, but I adore more monster designs for somewhat human looking creatures.

I gave him a long jaw that almost unhinges and sharper teeth with talon cusps. His teeth are black but not rotten. They're just packed with magnetite like chiton mollusk teeth. Giving a black appearance and making the teeth reinforced.

I gave him creature feet paws as reference to the Taber Knocker toe beans.

He's also skini, cause there ain't no way he's getting the nutrients he needs from bread, but he still has some muscles. They're just more along his legs, arms, and shoulders.

She is a large semi-aquatic dragon with heavy inspiration from Wings of Fire, because I first made her after I started reading those books. 😅

Decided to post this character I made that I may or may not be getting attached to.

Lore dump:

Bernadette was a custom made 36in doll made for a peculiar child around the late 1800s to early 1900s. He is a fabric doll with wooden bead joints, a wire frame tail, and a porcelain face.

Much of his features are a blend of demonic and lamb details. There are also additional vague skull details on the porcelain face, and the extremities fade to a charcoal black color.

He did not gain life until after years of absorbing both good and bad emotions/energies from the seemingly "perfect" family and being abandoned after the family left without warning.

He developed a severe fear of abandonment and the want to be desired in any way. He spent years learning to maintain himself and even gave himself upgrades. He even developed the ability to increase his size to approximately 6'5. Whatever needed to improve his chances of being kept, wanted, and to protect his dear. Even if it means killing potential threats.

My primary inspiration for him was the song Bernadette by IAMX. But I also drew inspiration from The Velvatine Rabbit story, Coraline, The Corpse Bride, Jack and the Cuckoo Clock Heart, and his behavior may or may not be similar to Pierrot from The Freak Circus (just without the drugging and kidnapping). 😅
