I Never Thought I'd Love TJ, But Here We Are

Next season they were going to make about going to b’nai mitzvot and how big a part of 7th grade that is for schools in Jewish communities. 

And realistically the show isn’t getting a second season. 

DOAFP is over. 

So is literally every other show currently or just finished filming. 

Realistically, if we can't get a vaccine, we are probably in this for around 18 months. 

Shows are not coming back. 

Take your time and energy to do other things like help end ICE detention centers or help America get our President out of office. 

DOAFP is great, and changed how Disney does a lot of things, but even if it was renewed, we’re probably looking at 2+ years till it would be able to film.

They will. And Bobby’s sexuality only matters when Liam is there to them as well. It sucks. 

Bobby is groundbreaking not just on Disney. There has never been a character like Bobby on TV period, though real life people are more like Bobby than Jude or Cyrus. 

But it won’t matter. The fandom won’t care, and that sucks. 

Bobby is in love. 

Not the slow love that TJ and Cyrus had, not the whatever that Connor and Jude had, no, this is fast and he’s falling hard and he’s acting like a typical middle schooler. 

THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. On any show, let alone a Disney one.

The only comparison I can make is Cody and Bailey who were in high school. It didn’t happen on Wizards, it didn’t happen on Hannah Montana, it didn’t happen on Sonny with a Chance. Maybe it’s happening now, I don’t watch anymore, but again, those weren’t even middle schoolers. 

This time Disney is going for realistic, AND THEY DON”T CARE ABOUT THE SEXUALITY, and that’s HUGE. 

This development happens even when Liam isn’t in an episode. So stop saying next episode isn’t gay enough or whatever. 

Unless Bobby isn’t in an episode, it’s gay, cause Bobby is gay, and discovering his attractions, that actually go beyond personality. He blushed when Liam was physically attracted to him (or when he perceived it that way). No show has done that before with gay middle schoolers. Only two other shows have had gay middle schoolers. 

I straight-up thought that Bobby was going to kiss him. Like he’s that head over heels and lacking judgement, I totally thought that was going to happen. 

This is like Cody and Bailey level infatuation. Disney hasn’t done this in a really really long time. 

Do Bobby and Liam remind you of Triles? Not in who they are, but in the potential for a relationship. Bobby’s reaction to Liam dancing with a girl reminded me of Tristan’s reaction to Miles kissing Maya in Paris.
