Back in 2002, Hendra Jaya Putra has fallen in love with music. Just over a years on, finally he found his true mate, a multi-talented coverboy, who recently guitaring for shoegazing group Polyester Embassy, Eky Darmawan. RNRM had played to their original pieces for over 7 years now. Their talents have compensated them to be one of the most promising talents reviewed by numerous underground and commercial reports across Europe, Jakarta, Bandung, Bali and Yogyakarta. Their popularity amongst the critical and music lovers alike marks their presence in the underground music culture. Providing the mixture of electronic, micro, Intelligence Dance Music, and avant pop , these young talents has released many singles and tracks played and received excellent reviews by local artist and international community alike. Artist that gave huge shout outs like Kyoto Jazz Massive, Jose Padilla, Deep Dish, Recloose, VHS/BETA , Missill, Peter Hook of New Order , Defused,Seiji of Bugz in the Attic , Seelentluft, Junior Boys, Telefon tel Aviv, The Radio Dept , just to name a few, has commented them to be one of the freshest talents Indonesia could ever give in this recent decade, especially in the electronic music community. In 2007 they released their 2nd album “Outbox” with additional model-turned- singer Kanya Satwika. After performing in various places and major venues they felt the need in adding more additional player and then reformed into “ La Famiglia RNRM “ with six more additional players on guitar, drums, bass , dj set , mc and bits pieces whatsoever in order to improvised their performance on stage. RNRM are currently preparing for their long overdue 3rd album to mark their commitment to the music industry and their 1000 plus requests from fans and music lover alike, which they convinced will be released this year. They also have promised that this album will not tear you into pieces. Less member means more effort. They believe it’d worth the hardwork.

Kemajuan teknologi berlalu lintas selama ini lebih terkonsentrasi pada kendaraan yang dipakai pengemudi. Atau, paling banter, mempercanggih rambu-rambu lalu lintas dan menambahkan kamera pengintai. Namun, sebuah firma di Belanda punya pemikiran revolusioner. Caranya, menciptakan jalan raya yang pintar, "Smart Highways". Konsep aspal jalan yang bersinar dalam gelap, bahkan suatu saat nanti bisa digunakan untuk mengisi energi mobil listrik, akan mulai diperkenalkan di Belanda tahun depan.

"Smart Highways" baru terkuak minggu lalu di ajang Dutch Design Week, menggunakan teknologi jalan raya terbaru. Perancangnya mengklaim teknologi itu "lebih berkelanjutan, aman, dan intuitif". Demikian seperti dilansir Daily Mail. Perusahaan di balik proyek tersebut juga mengatakan tujuan mereka adalah untuk menawarkan alternatif teknologi transportasi, dengan fokus pada jalan raya alih-alih pada kendaraan yang menggunakannya. Di antara yang paling ambisius adalah ide jalan di masa depan yang menyediakan jalur khusus yang memungkinkan para pengemudi mobil listrik mengisi energi kendaraannya saat melaju di jalur tersebut.

Gagasan lain adalah dengan menerangi jalanan dengan lampu hemat energi yang akan bersinar secara gradual ketika kendaraan mendekat, lalu berangsur mati secara otomatis ketika kendaraan telah melaju.

Mewujudkan ide-ide itu masih butuh waktu beberapa tahun, namun pada tahun depan marka jalan di Belanda akan dibuat dengan cat yang dibuat dari bubuk  photo-luminescent yang bisa menyimpan energi matahari yang bisa digunakan untuk menerangi jalan selama lebih dari 10 jam kala gelap. Teknologi lain yang akan diimplementasikan tahun depan adalah cat yang responsif terhadap temperatur. Jalan raya akan menampakkan pola kristal es yang bisa dilihat pengemudi saat cuaca dingin membuat jalanan lincin.

Just two hours of missed slumber is enough to stop the brain from laying down and storing memories, research suggests – and simply dropping from eight hours of sleep to six could make the difference.

What is more, any memories  lost due to not getting enough shut-eye may be gone for ever, the Society for Neuroscience’s annual conference heard.

Researcher Ted Abel said: ‘I think what it really means for modern life is that sleep is not a luxury.

‘It is really critically important for the brain and for the brain to function and for you to be able to really remember and consolidate what’s happened to you over the day.

‘I think we often feel that if we could grab a cup of coffee and answer five more emails, we would have done everything we could do. Sometimes it might be better to go to sleep and deal with it after.’

Professor Abel and his team form the University of Pennsylvania looked at how mice that were stopped from sleeping fared on a memory task.

The creatures were kept awake for varying amounts of time, to pinpoint just how little sleep had to be lost for their recall to be damaged.

The professor told the New Orleans conference: ‘What we found is that when we deprived animals of sleep, that impaired storage of memories.

‘And most importantly we found out that a very short period of time would block memory consolidation, it was as short as three hours, which for mice is something like 20 per cent of their sleep over 24 hours.

‘In human terms, it would be the equivalent of dropping an eight-hour night of sleep to six hours, which is something we do all the time.’

Sleep expert Dr Neil Stanley said a lack of memory consolidation can lead to people forgetting to carry out simple tasks and may often be the cause or arguments

It is thought that the replay of our memories while we are asleep is essential for their proper storage in the brain.

The study also suggested that there is a critical period after learning during in which memories are consolidated, meaning that loss of sleep at some points in time may be more damaging than at others.

Professor Abel, who tries to get seven to eight hours of sleep a night, added that any information lost due to lack of sleep is gone forever - meaning that sleeping longer the next night won’t bring it back.

Neil Stanley, one of Britain’s leading sleep experts, said: ‘The important thing about sleep is that is allows the brain to do things that it is far too busy to do during the day.‘Sleep is the quiet time that gives the brain time to do the filing.’

Dr Stanley, who set up world-class sleep labs at Surrey University before becoming a freelance sleep consultant, added that lack of memory consolidation can lead to people forgetting to carry out simple tasks.

‘This is the cause of why when you tell your husband to do something and then tomorrow you say, “But I told you that”, and you think he’s being difficult or stupid.

German scientists say they have discovered exactly how a sudden discovery or traumatic experience can be fatal. They say the news or event causes the body to produce large amounts of stress hormones including adrenaline, which narrows the main arteries which supply blood to the heart. This paralyses the heart's main pumping chamber, causing a sudden change in rhythm similar to a heart attack.
