I just want to ask you, as a highly respected carcar writer, what your thoughts were about the Hungary race. Because from a serious racing perspective I was devastated, but from a rpf pov I was very engaged 🧍♂️

i have to say i stand with oscar :D also him getting angry instead of being his usual polite self was hot C:
that being said mistakes happen otherwise we wouldn’t see people going into the gravel basically every race. it really sucks for oscar but it’s also very clear carlos didn’t do it on purpose. some of the things ive seen people say about carlos because of this are kind of wild and in my opinion way too far. (like wishing him dead… not on tumblr but instagram)
of course i think oscar has every right to be angry and im angry it happened but im not angry at carlos… if anything im angry about how unlucky it was (and how unlucky oscar has been all year? mclaren what’s up with that) also im angry at williams (because it seems like it was a williams(or fia) issue (max and charles also mentioned issues passing the williams and carlos said they didn’t communicate anything to him ?)). carlos definitely was in part responsible (he’s literally the one driving the car so that’s inherent) but it was a mistake. mistakes happen.
trust me if there is a secret anti-oscar operation at mclaren (i have my suspicions though they’re much more for last year then this year where mclaren can’t seem to get anyone on the podium), i really think it would be carlos’s last concern. especially since it actually seems like up until this point they have been growing friends

who’s gonna write oscar grabbing carlos by the collar, dragging him to back to one of their hotel rooms and fucking him stupid for this major infraction? who’s gonna write carlos all silly and teary and finally apologizing and oscar’s finger on his lips pushing them apart and spitting in his mouth and telling him his apology means fucking nothing and he better find some other way to make up for it (i can think of many many ways and i’m sure you can too)? please please please
perchance even newer relationship carcar and carlos is really scared he’s fucked up their relationship and oscar is reassuring him that racing is racing ? the possibilities are endless 🤩
edit: this is a crazy edit to have to make but i’m not arguing with people on this… and i’ll delete arguing comments. i was asked for my opinion and this is it, if you don’t like it, nobody is forcing you to agree with it C: there is just too much else in the world that needs to be argued about (at least in my country) i really don’t want to argue about something like f1 which brings me comfort :) and btw here’s a tip: be civil and respectful when you try to debate with people… others are rarely convinced of your point if you immediately start attacking them, in fact that often just pushes them further toward their own opinion
anyways i love you all! i know my typical community doesn’t need to hear that but i always get a few new people through tags and some need to hear it
