My attempt at translating the SD artbook, including mostly comments from the artist Yamada Uiro plus other fun tidbits about the characters.

Based on Taku's AfterStory Drama CD which was really out for my heart.

Happy New Year! I treated myself and bought all the Slow Damage AfterStory Drama CDs. I wanted to share them with everyone because they're all so good!

He was literally raised alongside Yakuza, his father constantly pressured him to be the heir of said Yakuza so much to the point where he hired someone to force tattoos onto him (when he was like eight years old btw), not only was traumatized by the forced tattooing, but then the ink of said tattoos seeped into his nerves which caused his mind to be overtaken and in an unconsciously manipulated state of mind he murded his family, everyone on his main homeland, and his mother, and he had to hold onto all of that guilt and self-hatred for over 20 years, tried to even kill himself, but only stopped because the only thing keeping him alive was Aoba.

Yes, he's the “childhood friends to lovers” archetype, and yes that already adds a bit of familiarity and comfort to their relationship, causing them to be more openly vulnerable and affectionate towards each other, which, yes, in some people's eyes may seem “vanilla” but given everything both Koujaku and Aoba have been through, what's wrong with that?? Say what you want about KouAo, but they nailed the childhood friends to lovers trope before the childhood friends to lovers trope was as universally loved as it is now.

Given the fact that Koujaku has loved Aoba before the events of Dramatical Murder even take place, he's been through too much for him to be labeled as “the boring one” simply because he finally got the love of his life whom he's cherished since they were kids after 20+ years of struggling with guilt, depression, and suicidal thoughts all by his lonesome.

I don't typically make these kinds of post, but I really need some help looking for something.

For those who've been following my blog for awhile, you'll know I'm a fan of a game called Lamento -BEYOND THE VOID-. It's a BL game released by Nitro+Chiral back in 2006. While other Nitro+Chiral games have been localized here in the West, Lamento has never and likely will never receive an official localization.

Now, I am fully aware of the English patch that exists for this game, however, due to system limitations, I'm unable to properly play the game as of right now.

So here's where I need some help.

I am looking for mushyaaaan's english translations for Lamento. I've been able to find a post of theirs on the Wayback Machine that references these documents, as well as a masterpost with more of their translations referenced, however the links are broken and I've been unable to find a mirror for any of these docs.

If you remembering reading these translations and miraculously still have access to them, please send them my way. I am hoping to compile these docs into a google drive and share them here so they aren't lost again.
