She's a scientist. And a red-head. And an Uzumaki that worked for Orochimaru.

She worked under coercion since she was a kid and got used for her abilities (which are like Karin's). Still, even if under coercion she did some very shady stuff.

When Sasuke killed Orochimaru and took over the Sound village (as per my Sasuke headcanons) she became his right hand managing it. Kind of like Konan with Pain.

She's not evil at all, she doesn't want to hurt people, but she's not particularly empathetic or affectionate either.

I picture her as kind but very sarcastic and laid back. I feel like Sasuke would feel comfortable with someone relaxed that counters his intensity. He's all moody and edgy and she responds with snark.

She's morbidly curious about scientific matters but extremely lazy in everything else.

She's not a fighter but she's an equal to Sasuke. She cares about him but is not clingy or in love with him. And he cares about and respects her too, not romantically at first but she's someone he trusts and won't go around stabbing and stuff.

The sound village managed to grow in part because of Sasuke's power and in part because of her scientific contributions.

They got married and had kids as a mutual agreement between two people with a lot of trust. He wanted the Uchiha clan restored and she had scientific curiosity about Uchiha/Uzumaki offspring. They grew to genuinely love each other though. But at the beginning the marriage was purely transactional.
