Count the Rice is already close enough I think Dropout should just commit and make a horror Game Changer episode. Sam’s voice welcomes you to game changer and you walk out and suddenly the whole building is dark and empty except for you, a couple cast members in scary as shit costumes, and Sam’s friend Tao Yang who is standing about ten seconds away…
neverending praise to the editors of count the rice, that is some truly insane shit you pulled off!! incredibly cohesive and easy to follow AND so much fun with the transition cuts!!! like truly incredible story telling out of what must be dozens of hours of footage!!!

catherine might be the first game changer player who understood the assignment, immediately failed the assignment, figured out the assignment better, told everyone else the assignment, and then failed multiple times cause she truly cannot describe pictures (or name songs). player of all time. i love seeing someone who clearly gets and loves game changer and is just plain bad at games. representation for all of us.
immediate top 5 game changer episode btw there’s just so much to love. the slow reveal of the rooms. ify being the first to lose in room 1. catherine mccafferty being the episode’s main character and breakout star. the set design for all of the rooms but ESPECIALLY the spot the difference ones. 25 grants. the friendship(?) between hannah and the bouncer for room 2. demi accidentally plotting his own downfall by saying pop goes the weasel at the same time as hannah. sam trying to fill time while waiting for a player to win their way back up. the pic pong got him. a true fucking delight all the way down and back up again
so far "count the rice" is like "what if a game show was actually an escape room, but what if the escape room was actually the inferno and you have to climb your way out of several layers of hell"

Could possibly be a system based off of or using Changeling: The Dreaming (possibly specifically an altered toys will be toys or something) OR Changeling: The Lost.
The poem in the trailer is "The Stolen Child" by William Butler Yeats. He wrote irish fairy tales and folklore. He ordered the poems and put the stolen child with other changeling poems and stories. The poem is about luring children away to escape the suffering of the world, but also leaving the good things.

Wyon is a prominent family who lived in England and irland up until the early/mid 1900s
Constance; Constance and even Con were popular names during this time in London/UK. Constance Markievicz was also a key player in gaining independence for the people of Ireland

Tiddlywink has also been used as a name for faires in media before. And the tiddlywinks game boxes are sometimes depicted with fairies on the box playing the game.
Calypso has musical ties to french medieval music. It also means hidden or hider. Derived from the Greek Kalyptein meaning to conceal. It also has musical ties to trinidad and tobago, where the name may have derived from carrousseaux, meaning a drinking party/festivity - which is typical fae imagery.
Clyde is a name of celtic origin -scotland and northern ireland in reference to the river Clyde
Avery derives of Ælfred the literal translation of which is elf counsel.
