my design for older nuru,,,,, ive been thinking about nuru and her kingdom alot. my headcanons is that Nuru is an only child, and that she gets her curiosity from her dad and her determination from her mother. The wind kingdom is heavily based off of north african culture, and since the meteor showers started raining down on their kingdom about a decade ago, theyve paused development of the arts and sciences in order to focus resources on survival. Nuru and her mother butt heads on how to address the meteor shower problem, and this clash of ideals drives Nuru to go with Varian and the team to find that damn library. They make up eventually, but yeah, thats her thing now, nurus got mommy issues.
