Iâve found my next band photo hoard quest (or actually, I have several⌠and for as much house-cleaning Iâve done lately, I have way more going in than out).
A couple years ago, Buck Dharmaâs old website went defunct, and it had a lot of rare Blue Oyster Cult pictures on it. Some are available in other places⌠some, not so much. I had a link on an old post I made here to a picture I cropped (one where Allen Lanier was making a real cheeky expression while posing with a mannequin, which I didnât think Tumblr would take too kindly to). From there, Iâve been digging through the Wayback Machine to see what photo files still load, and what I can salvage. Iâve gotten a good number built up, for what itâs worth. But I can only do a few pictures at a time before I start getting errors (I think Wayback might have some rate limit on it for images, the way itâs been going). But yeah⌠Iâm trying to save the BOC photos I can and share them here! It oughta make planning my posts for them easier over the next few months while Iâm going into clinical rotations.
Similarly, though in less numbers, Iâm trying to track down and preserve some pictures for Squeeze that have stopped displaying on packetofthree.com from some of their photo galleries. Some appear to have vanished into the ether, and some have come up on Wayback, though are in low quality (but if they can be saved in some form, Iâll take them!)
Lastly, Iâve been trying to track down some hard to find Supertramp pictures that I first saw on a few blogs that no longer exist, and while I havenât found all, I have found some of the ones I hadnât previously reblogged or seen in other places⌠so I can start bringing some of those back!
