my loserverse max isnt all that fleshed out. the few things i have pinned down for sure are that he's a diagnosed aspie who refuses to speak (im not sure if he's mute or not tbh) except when he does drugs in which case he suddenly "becomes" very friendly and sociable
i think loserverse max has a smorgasbord of bullet points you could find in a DSM but nothing enough to really pinpoint what's wrong with him. i think he lives at home with his mother and spends most of his time with her; watching tv or cooking or generally doing domestic family stuff. i dont think he speaks to her either but i think they have a very strong relationship.
on the downlow and without letting his mom know, i think he goes to a lot of the same parties/functions/clubs that lando and his like go to on occasion; he's usually off in the corner completely silent just people watching. he has a very, very in depth and complex index of every single person in the loserverse because of this, but he doesnt actually do anything with any of the info he gathers.
the only person in the loserverse he's spoken to is lewis, and this was the very first night he tried cocaine. lewis thinks max is a normal dude with a 9-5 who has a great taste in music and understanding of people; he views max as the ideal conversational partner. when lewis tells people this in other locations they all think he's taking the piss because "that weirdo who just comes to stand around and stare" has never spoken a word or even acknowledged their presence.
landoscar being this bizarre couple of more or less fucked up individuals but somehow staying together seems so on point honestly. i imagine them being this couple that freaks people out by how strange and seemingly mismatched they are but still fitting together. the kind of couple that makes bystanders think " i CAN'T imagine they fuck". just a thought that your lovely loserverse inspired <3

lando being like yea dw mate im not gonna drag the joke on im gonna dump him on the first date and then being stunned when the date is shaping up distinctly around oscars lack of hobbies/interests and if lando DID break up with him at this point oscar would probably go: oh..um...ok.... and then in that scenario lando just walks away and dips making him be like he can tell oscar would def not know how to handle that scenario so hes just doing something mean without any joke worthy part happening yet so then hed just be an asshole as if pretending to ask someone out on a date and breaking up with them on the first one in general isnt mean SO he determines yk what oscar isnt too bad. maybe... and then later into the date lando actually finds himself having some strange likeness/comfort in oscar being the way he is!!🌻
LOVE your mind. genuinely he would be going through so many mental gymnastics about it like spending so much of his day thinking "okay here's how i can dump him and just get it over with" and then the next date comes and he is just so put off yet intrigued by oscar's nothingburger ass existence he just genuinely cant. he cant do it. he gets nothing out of dating him but he gets nothing out of dumping him either its genuinely so puzzling for him.
i imagined that at some point 3-4 dates into their boring dates (oscar thinks they've all gone really well so far) oscar does something really small like idk pulls a chair out for him at the restaurant or offers to help him clean his room and lando is genuinely so flattered and charmed it completely changes how he views oscar

loserverse lando is like your manic pixie dream girl. he's a quirked up slutty stoner who gets flirted with at retail a lot (works in a makeup store or something.) he also has the emotional maturity of a fifteen year old and very much acts like it; jumps from relationship to relationship, crashes out over everything and has no sense of self or life direction. often pretends to be stupid/helpless because he doesnt like to think for himself; wildly concerned with how other people view him and will do nearly anything for attention.
still, he's a big sweetheart on the outside and loves helping people and sharing the love. warm and friendly and approachable, but get to know him for more than a conversation and you realize how much of a neurotic fuckup he is. people tend to either love or hate him, but most people love him.
oscar...does not clock any of this. oscar is, in the loserverse, of the more normal and well adjusted people, but not exactly by a wide margin. he's a nic addict who's scared of women/being in public/anyone perceiving him as anything other than background noise, and if you said the words 'anxiety disorder' to him he would probably lash out at you. hes sort of naive and ends up friends with a lot of lowlifes and delinquents unintentionally but he doesn't judge them (that much.) he went to college and holds a boring entry-level job that pays okay; he and lando move in together shortly after meeting because oscar wants to rail him so bad it makes him insane and because lando needs a place to stay and he wants to room with someone who isnt a coke addict for once
they have a bumpy relationship for the first few years but they stay together for a long time/permanently and are happy with each other. oscar is really, really attracted to lando's emotional instability and lando is really, really attracted to oscar's flat and unreactive demeanor. everyone thinks they're a terrible fit for each other but somehow they're obsessed with each other
