Twisted M Living enjoys a few hours at Ripley's Aquarium in Myrtle Beach, SC. We went early June 2020, and all of the interactive exhibits (one's you can touch) were closed because of COVID19. We were still able to view a large portion of it.

We stayed at Carolina Pines RV resort in Conway, SC in Early June 2020. We were very impressed with the sites and the level of service at the Resort. It is about 15-20 mins from the beach, but they do offer a shuttle to take you there. Everyone knows that the mattress that comes with your travel trailer is crap. Well we decided to do something about it. We go to Original Mattress factory here in NC to get a custom mattress made for our RV. They make all kinds of custom sizes in inner spring and foam. This is one of those things we have talked about forever but finally dropped some dimes on, a Travel Berkey filter for our RV. We always wanted to make sure we have cleaner water, and with all our research these seems like we can handle it. With the cold and flu season around us, we go through the process of making elderberry syrup which we use to boost immunity. Who just likes taking a spoonful of something thought like medicine? So, we make it fun and make gummy bears. Recipe: 2 cups of elderberries 6 cups of water Cinnamon orange zest cloves (we used essential oils of instead) 1/2 cup of honey (if you are just making the syrup. For Gummies: 1 cup Elderberry Syrup 1 cup apple juice 1 cup Ningxia Red (availble from Young Living, hit us on Facebook if interested) 1/2 cup of Honey

Visit to the Udvar-Hazy Center, The National Air and Space Museum at Chantilly, VA. It is next door to Dulles Airport, it is multiple hangars full of historical aircraft. On our yearly trip to the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, we check out the new Wildwood Grove Expansion at Dollywood. All the new rides and scenery.

We make a zucchini lasagna (zucchini instead of lasagna noodles) in the Dutch oven. Very easy recipe see how it turns out. Here is the recipe: 2 large zucchini 1 tablespoon salt 1 pound ground beef 1 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper 1 small green bell pepper, diced 1 onion, diced 1 cup tomato paste 1 (16 ounce) can tomato sauce 1/4 cup red wine 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil 1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano hot water as needed 1 egg 1 (15 ounce) container low-fat ricotta cheese 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley 1 (16 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained 1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese 8 ounces grated Parmesan cheese layer it starting with zucchini. Finish with cheese. Cooking in dutch oven? Coals on top and under, approx 25-30 minutes. Be sure to check for hot spots and turn as needed. In the oven? 350 for approx 30-40 minutes.
