Nonconvember is back for the second year running, as an event celebrating all things with fictional consent issues. Whether it’s fanfic, fanart, original work, podfic, or whatever floats your boat—anything goes.
The rules are essentially the same as last year: no generative AI usage is allowed, and if you believe your work counts, it probably does (though you can check out the full list from the links below). And once again, I’ll be celebrating anyone who completes all weekly or daily prompts in a shoutout at the end. I hope you all enjoy the prompts!

i know it's still super early so i don't expect them now, but i'm wondering how far in advance you intend to release this years prompts? if the event is going ahead again this year, it's nice to have an event for this
Yes it’s going ahead this year! Unfortunately my dog died recently which kind of threw a loop in my plans, but I aim to post the prompts on July 1. Hopefully that’s enough time for everyone!

Just in case the UI update makes this website unusable (or this account gets shadowbanned somehow because of its content—I don’t think it’s likely but just in case), I did create a subreddit for Nonconvember! I know Reddit sucks, but it’s one of the few places where hosting this event for fictional noncon isn’t against the terms of service.
You can find it at r/Nonconvember. It’s pretty bare-bones right now (there is nothing in it), but I’ll eventually update it with the same information this blog has going forward. (Aka, the rules, FAQ, and prompts.) There’s no need to migrate; I will still be updating here too as long as the website remains functional! This is just another option.
(Ps: prompts for 2026 have been created. I haven’t shared them yet because more than six months in advance feels… excessive, but if you want them so that you can get a head start, just let me know and I’ll send them to you lol. The list will be officially released sometime around May, but I’m 95% sure it won’t change.)

This was the first year for the event—and my first time running something like this ever—and I would love to hear from you all how it went. I would really appreciate if you could take this anonymous survey to let me know your thoughts. No questions are required, so only answer what you want to.

i learned this existed when the event was almost over! are you doing it next year? if so, when do you think you'll release the prompts, like next october or earlier? (earlier would be nice but that's just because i'm sad for missing out lol)
I’m absolutely doing this next year too! I plan to release the prompts around mid-September, like I did this year. Possibly earlier (if I have everything picked out and sorted by then 😅).
Also, the prompt collection will stay open until January 1, and you can use the prompts at any time, even after then, if you feel inspired! Don’t worry about finding it late—and I’ll see you next year :D

Eurydice grieved her own infidelity, but could not let herself feel guilty for it, because even though betrayal churned in her gut, it was nothing compared to the way hunger used to. This was the price of chasing a promise down the railroad: the press of her name in ink against the paper, then the press of intimacy within her, transactional and devoid of feelings on both sides, as the god made use of his new acquisition.
It could’ve been worse. It hadn’t hurt, and she hadn’t needed to do anything but lay there. Hunger and cold were entirely absent now, so she’d gotten what she’d needed out of the deal, hadn’t she? Still, Eurydice’s hands continued to shake as she cleaned herself up and dressed.
But that matter had barely been a footnote in her contract; her real work had yet to begin. There was no time to rest before she was swept out to the factory floor.
Nor, she soon learned, would there ever be.
It could’ve been worse, she thought, desperately, as she realized the truth of the existence she’d sold her body and soul for.

Gabriel still buzzes under his skin sometimes.
He’s long since aged past assuming it has to do with the vessel not fitting perfectly. Sure, it was uncomfortable at first. But being constrained to a body thats so very, very small does that.
He just tries to brush it off so he won’t think about the source.
Michael, or Lucifer, maybe Zachariah did it. Hammered in the final nail. Pushed the yes out of Gabriel’s ‘lungs’ with enough force to leave him hating it. He did say yes though. That’s what matters.
His chest itches below the skin. Right under the first layer of epidermis. It’d be easy enough to claw himself open, to see if it’d get rid of it.
He knows it won’t.
So he toughens up, ignores it, and keeps moving onward.
