Hey so I finally got access to this blog again, I’m in the process of moving stuff over to the other account that I made (nonbinary-peterparker) while I tried to figure everything out over here.

I do plan on changing the URL of that blog to nonbinarypeterparker at some point, however I figured this would be easier for everyone who hasn’t been able to follow that blog that wants to still follow me.

so like… white pearl looks like pink diamond. i think we can all agree on that yeah? 

the top, the shape of her translucent skirt, the belly cutout, the curly hair. and whats more, white pearl seems pretty weird as she is now. she seems unable to move her body beyond speaking and blinking, instead sliding around in a static pose like some kinda weird statue or doll. she doesn’t speak in “her own” voice; that is to say, she isn’t voiced by deedee magno-hall, who has voiced every other pearl. instead she speaks in white diamonds voice.

so, a theory: white pearl used to be pink diamond’s pearl, but either came out defective, hence the damage to her face 

or she was hurt somehow, and replaced by *our* pearl. 

or a third option: she couldn’t keep pink in check, was deemed a failure, taken away from pink by white diamond, and replaced by our pearl. as for the eye; and the monochrome color scheme, i believe this may be white diamond’s power. if yellow can manipulate a gem’s light-form, blue can alter their emotional/mental state, and pink can heal damage to the physical gem, then white diamond can do… this. somehow render a gem little more than a blank shell, upon which she can impress her own will. meaning white pearl wasn’t just speaking with white diamond’s voice, rather white diamond was speaking through her pearl. 

and i mean… just look at how blue and yellow react to her presence

That’s not actually White Diamond, it’s a projection, or a statue. She is somewhere else. You can’t see her gem and she doesn’t move. Her voice is also just very like. Static, and monotonous, with some weird and creepy undertone to it like that could be partly because she’s such an old gem but I think there’s more to it.
