hi! i'm ash ( @jupitercl0uds & @jupitercl0uds-art ) and i go by they/them/xe/xem. i live in england, i'm nonbinary + sex repulsed and i'm a minor ^^
no longer nearly as bad as i was mentally (unless i forgot to update this post) but i can get paranoid/anxious quite easily so i WILL post things about "omg what if they hate me..." a bit too much. no i do not tag this because i just forget. in fact i generally forget to tag for triggers sometimes. if i do forget to tag a trigger, please to tell me and i'll be fine to edit the post! i do tag most posts with touchy topics as ask to tag, but there's also a lot of topics that i often forget need triggers such as unreality. i don't mean any harm by this, i'm just forgetful!
this is my sonic blog, but i do frequently post other interests of mine (NiGHTS, parappa series, ratchet and clank and klonoa to name a few) and occasionally do crossovers (most notably @interstellar-au). most of these other interests are gaming related and most of these games are somewhat similar to sonic in some way

saw a comment pointed this out in that the new metal sonic bio suggests that pretty much suggests how all of metal sonic's actions after heroes means eggman did it as metal sonic isn't sentient anymore
metal sonic showing signs of rebellious behavior in games such as crossworlds? eggman made him rebellious because he's bored or something
metal sonic ripping the chaos emerald to help shadow in rivals 2? eggman did that because ??? or for hype aura or he has soft spot for shadow for some reason
all those instances of sonic talking to metal sonic from trying to help him to ragging at him in metal virus? he's literally talking to someone that is no different like a roomba and getting mad that it does its job by its creator in metal virus because metal sonic isn't sentient

There's not a living soul behind those eyes. Eggman just made him do that for the hype moments and aura.
happy 30th anniversary, NiGHTS into dreams!!!! such a special game to me that will probably always be a part of me. this piece caused me grief but i whacked it out eventually!!!
waow gta san andreas is so awesome i sure do hope the later games in the franchise are a reasonable price with a nice fanbase and Normal things going on
i hate discourse about who is "allowed" to use certain labels. i don't care if someone says they're bi but they basically only like 1 gender. i don't care if someone calls themself a lesbian but is attracted to men sometimes. hell i don't even care if a 100% binary cis guy identifies as a lesbian like all this only ACTUALLY matters if these people are being forceful about it. like even if this hypothetical cis guy goes into lesbian spaces, the worst he can do is ask out women who aren't interested. like it's annoying but it doesn't actually matter. if he starts being forceful about it, i don't think it really matters if he identifies as a lesbian or not, cause he'd probably be forceful about it anyway. like that myth of the trans lesbian who calls you transphobic if you aren't into her, even if such a character DOES exist, they were probably gonna act that way regardless of what labels they go by.
rejecting a person's identity because of an extreme hypothetical scenario is kinda ridiculous if you ask me. like if they're not being homophobic or forceful about it, then who CAREEEEEEEES.

i think the most infuriating thing about talking about gen ai with my dad is that he um. he doesn't believe water scarcity is real. like he's not much of a conspiracy theorist and believes in things like climate change but he's one of those "but sea levels are supposedly rising" kinds of people. then when we explained that water itself is not scarce but drinking water IS scarce he said "well then why don't they cool it with non-drinking water?" oh gee dad sorry. forgot about the part where i can just call up sam altman and ask him to switch to more sustainable water, thanks â¤ď¸
