For some reason, I sometimes like to think that Antonio Salieri would punch ableists
The reason you think that is becauseeeee
Itās true he absolutely would.

Casually goes feral because apparently Salieri's son can play piano (also I found out weeks ago that Alois Engelbert Salieri was also disabled, but let me look for that first)
So sweetā¦.

Mozart is indeed a genius⦠this is the only way Iāll refer to our dear sweets-loving Toni from now on.
Antonio Salieri in Classi9
Extra:
hhhhhhhhhh I found a thing about Antonio Salieri's older brother from @thedianex113
Though, it's in Italian
My friend, you've appealed to the music history lover in me. Okay, so I don't know Italian but I do know French so with rudimentary knowledge of Romance languages and Google Translate, I've come up with a rough translation of the cover. From top to bottom:
Musicology Notebooks from the University of Verona
Sources (or collections maybe?) of Venetian Instrumental Music Between the Eighteenth and Nineteenth Centuries
Collected by Elisa Grossato
Francesco Salieri
Symphony in B flat Minuet
Introduced and Edited by Francesco Bissoli
Complete (Final? Closing?) Edition
It's from Academia.edu so it's free to download a pdf of it as is, or if you frequently search for academic papers, you could sign up and it offers a translated version (I'm not sure how reliable it is, though). Francesco Salieri and his life experiences are sadly not very well documented so he is a rather enigmatic figure. He and Antonio were separated due to the death of their parents when Antonio was 15, so I'm not sure if he would have had more insight about his brother. If you're looking for more on our most beloved Toni, might I suggest Dwight's Journal of Music? You'll find many pdf copies of many of the volumes on Google Books for free. Also, if you haven't already read this, here's the one that sparked my journey to know more about Salieri: https://www.academia.edu/3274737/The_Real_Story_of_Antonio_Salieri_Classical_History_Fall_2011_at_USM_?source=news_feed_share

The Wonderfully Odd Life of Francis Alexander - Chapter Two
Vienna
My Father and I traveled for nearly a day and a half to reach Vienna. And now weāre here, the city of music. My goodbye back in Bonn was a heartfelt one; My Mother, though happy for me, wept profusely. I had to say goodbye to my childhood friends. We promised to stay in touch, but the chances of that would be very unlikely. For in the eyes of Viennese high society, āWhy would the nobles mingle with the serfs?ā Of course, I had to say farewell to Juliet as well, as hard as it was. Once it was all said and done, my Father put my bags in the carriage and before I knew it, we were off.
We reached Vienna just this morning, and I canāt help but be extremely fearful for what lies ahead. What is the man Iām about to wed like? Iāve heard heās very extravagant and throws the most lavish parties within his salon. Also, assuming on what Iāve overheard from my parents, he holds some sort of musical importance in His Majestyās court. But none of that to me is important. I care not if heās rich or poor, but what I yearn to discover is his personality. What if heās absolutely charming in front of others, but then less than kind behind closed doors? What does he like to do in his spare time? Whatās his favorite color? ā¦most people would see these as somewhat trivial things, but to me, as silly as it may seem, these things are key on getting to know somebody.
The streets of Vienna were indeed an incredible sight. Everyone from maids to hairdressers to the wealthy walked throughout the markets, in and out of beautiful buildings. Some vendors sold beautiful materials, others delicious sweets. Before heading to this Countās home, I picked up a favorite childhood treat of mine, Capezzoli de Venere, which translates into āNipples of Venusā. As funny as the name may sound, they truly are delicious and Iād recommend them to anyone.
After about an hour of searching, we finally arrived at this manās home. I must admit, it looked very elegant. It was tall and white, with its trimmings and other details painted a soft pink. My father had the driver of the coach wait outside. He knocked on the door, and it was opened by the butler who couldnāt have been at least a few years older than I, if not the same age. He nervously glanced at my father and I before speaking. āHello Sir, Frauline. May I help you?ā āGood day, young man? We were wondering if Count Rosenberg might be in? If so, you can tell him that Johannes Alexander has arrived.ā
The eyes of the butler lit up, as if he suddenly remembered something. āHerr Alexander! Of course. Please, please, do come inside.ā He escorted us to a large yellow drawing room, where we were seated. The butler looked at us and smiled. āIāll go and tell Count Rosenberg. Oh, if you need anything, my name is Frederic.ā He then left in search of this āRosenbergā. Well, at least now I knew of his surname. Francis Marie Rosenbergā¦I suppose it didnāt sound too bad.
About ten minutes later, Frederic the butler returned to us in the drawing room. āHerr Alexander, Frauline Alexander; Count Rosenberg will be here any minute now.ā As the time passed, my heart grew more and more anxious. In the blink of an eye, my future would walk through that door and my life would be altered. But my worrying had to be cut short, for at that moment⦠HE walked in.

The Wonderfully Odd Life of Francis Alexander - Chapter One
Big News
Misfortune - āAn unfortunate condition or eventā. Throughout my life, my family and I have been bombarded with anything BUT misfortune. My Mother and Father have both lead very successful lives, and my younger sister and I have always been very healthy and bright. I suppose that after twenty two years of being alive, some ill will eventually had to break the cycle and disturb our peace. Disturb my peace, to be correct.
To the rest of my family, it was great news. āMy dearest girl, itās about time! Youāll finally settle down and lead a long, wealthy life.ā, my Father would roar happily. I smiled not to disappoint him.
āDonāt fret so much. Iāve heard good things of him! Your father was wise in making him that deal so that youād become a noblemanās bride. Besides, heās rich, well liked, and held high up within the Emperorās court.ā My Mother would say this to calm me, but my heart was as lively as ocean waves on a stormy eve.
The only one that would hear me out was my sister. āI know youāre stressed out, Francis, but Iām sure youāll be alright.ā Iād scoff at her. āThatās easy for you to say, Juliet! Youāre only fourteen. You arenāt in my shoes just yetā¦ā My dearest sister who was eight years my junior would sit beside me. āWell, I know youāre scaredā¦so am I. But just know, Frannie, if you ever feel lonely, Iāll always be waiting right here for you in Bonn. And if you canāt make it back here from Vienna, then I could always come to see you.ā
Then weād hug and make a million promises how Iād visit them for Christmas and that they might visit me in early June. My dearest Juliet⦠How Iād hate to leave her behind. But I suppose now none of it matters, for Iām stuck in a carriage with my Father, Vienna bound.
I am Francis Marie Alexander; daughter of Johannes and Christine Alexander, and older sister to Juliet. But in less then a week, I shall no longer be an Alexander, but something entirely new and unfamiliar. I shall be wed to a Count Iāve never even met, in a place that is not my home. What shall I make of that?
Iāve decided to write a Mozart l'Opera Rock story mainly focusing on a character of mine whoās closely linked to Rosenberg. Iāll have the first chapter up soon. Stay tuned to see it. (;

Is it odd if I wish that Rosenberg from Mozart l'opera Rock had more fanarts/stories on Tumblr of him? Like, heās awful, but I love him⦠But heās really awful. Maybe I should get on and write some stuff about him?
it would be cool to see more rosenberg content! i think heās really funny in the play (even when heās being a completely awful jerk heās hilarious comic relief) and i bet thereās a lot you could do with the character!
The only way I can remember my friendās birthday is by remembering she was born a day after Antonio Salieri (August 18). Dead Composers over Living Friends lol jk.
valid,,, ask me any day of week anything about salieri and iāll answer with no doubt but ask me about a friends birthday and i have to check on my phone every single time
