Sometimes I feel like the only reason people accept Kris being trans is because that gives them carte blanche to yell at and correct others over their pronouns. And those same people will proudly say that being trans isn't actually important to their story. It's just this neat little fact about them that you can be rude about because it's easy to be correct about it, but as soon as anyone comes along and suggests that they might have had to transition from a coercively assigned gender at birth they throw a fit
Anyway that really does explain why transfem Ralsei pisses off so many. Because that is an unavoidable, front and center transgender story about defying the role you were coercively assigned at birth
