#mabsdrawlloweenclub prompt 02: Pumpkin 🎃 Took a stab at playing with the oil and turpentine paint brushes in procreate. Gotta say, I have never painted with oils so I do not know how it is to work with, but it was very interesting to play with digitally - not to mention no mess to clean up! This year I am FINALLY participating in #mabsdrawlloweenclub drawing challenge - I have seen the prompt lists the last couple years and was super intrigued, but it was always after I started another challenge...of which apparently shall not be named *ahem* you know the one...aaaany way, there was no way I would be able to do both in one year. @mabgraves promps always pulled my interest, and her 2020 prompt list is going to sooo much fun! This year, she was kind enough to make alternate prompt lists if doing 31 drawings is too much because, well 2020 is what it is. This sketchbook doodle was inspired by a post on @kavolocks page of model @flower.friendly Practicing a new rune I learned recently for drawing faces - made so much more sense in my brain than the more traditional version! Stumbled upon it when a @drawfeeshow extra lesson dealie was posted on @youtube that popped up on my feed not too long ago.
