IT WAS OUT of character for Judy to be seen with a drink in her hand or avoid properly dealing with her problems. But after spending a majority of her workday feeling homesick, she decided to give in to the temptation that presented itself in her coworkers inviting her out for a few drinks. It beat out heading back to her lonely apartment where she would have probably ended up crying after Facetiming her parents. A pout formed on the girl’s lips as she twirled the straw in her fruity drink about before she turned her attention toward the person who had just sat down at the bar beside her. “You know what’s complete crap?” Even when she was drunk she was too wholesome to curse. “People keep underestimating me no matter what,” she stated. “I may be small and I may be a woman, but I’m totally capable of doing the same things as the men at my work. But, no. I’m stuck on parking ticket duties. Do you think it’s fair that they don’t let me out in the field when I’m working my butt off constantly? What’s a girl got to do to be taken seriously?”

He couldn’t help but raise a brow in response to the other’s observation. Nick wasn’t exactly one to go to a doctor either but that wasn’t because he didn’t believe in modern medicine it was mostly just to save money.  “ Right, how generous of you. “ 

Perhaps It was just Alice’s wishful thinking or the fact that she was distracted, maybe a mix of the two. She blinked her big blue eyes, feeling slightly embarrassed for making such an assumption. “ Oh…  I’m sorry i guess I just assumed that was the question. Oh no, not unless you wanted to. “ she replied a bit bashfully. She glanced down at her lacey gloved hands. 

Sebastian was in his element, whether or not he wanted to admit it. Town sponsored events weren’t exactly his type of thing considering he preferred more intimate setting such as nightclubs or lowkey parties, but this gave him the opportunity to get acquainted with a few new faces and old all in one. He was nursing his third drink when he noticed someone who caught his eye, downing the rest that was in the cup before deciding to approach them. He tipped his sunglasses that completed his greaser inspired look, eyes all pupils. The black pigmentation of his irises could have been excused as a trick of lighting but there was more to it. It also happened to be the explanation for his hunger for attention. “I could offer you a drink or engage in small talk but I’d rather not waste time.” He wet his lips. “There are two options here: we dance and you let me take you home afterward or we skip all of that and get the hell out of here.”

Alice had naturally found herself enjoying the dance, loving both the atmosphere and the fact that she got to wear a cute vintage dress. The blonde had mostly kept to herself for most of the dance not being able to find the courage to approach anyone and ask for a dance. Although it would have been a lie to say that she had been wanting to dance with someone. Her blue eyes had wondered around the room, not really focusing on anything in particular, until she noticed someone had approached her. She had only caught part of what they were saying causing her to smile shyly. “ I’m sorry, I was slightly distracted but were you asking me to dance? “ She questioned, her big blue eyes blinking innocently up at them. 

veronica raised her eyebrows slightly, never more happy that she was an only child. “you two sound you have quite an interesting relationship.” she teased. she combed her fingers through her hair, “trust me, once you have a bit of tea you’ll feel ten times better. doesn’t matter what it tastes like. although if you add honey to anything it will make it taste good.” or at least that was her theory. “and if not, we can always find some emergency tums at the gas station for back up.”

“wait, someone asked you to eat a bag of worms once? like live ones?” veronica wasn’t sure if she should feel grossed out or amused by the story. especially since he actually went through with it. “all i have with me in my purse is some migraine meds and something for pms which are probably not the most helpful right now.” she pursed her lips in thought. “wanna get some tea and something small to eat? maybe you’re having hunger pains and you don’t even realize it.”

Nick winced away almost instinctively when the stranger  expressed his discomfort. The last thing he needed was someone throwing up all over him. “ Or you could go see a doctor, you know like most human beings do. “ he pointed out, rather bluntly. “ Look man, If you’re going to vomit everywhere could you at least do it away from me? “ 

“a whole bag of worms? gross,” mina fake-baulked in reaction to being told such a thing. she hummed, listening to pugsley speak and reaching around in her backpack for an elusive protein bar. “a-ha! i have one of those raw vegan peanut bars. try this? if it doesn’t work, i promise i’ll pat you,”

pugsley was skeptical as he watched the other root around in her bag, even more so when she said the the thing she was pulling out was vegan. but, he wasn’t going to scoff at some free food. “what if i pretend it doesn’t work just to get free pats?” he asked, joking a bit as he took the food and started to eat it. honestly, it wasn’t long before it was gone.

The brunette didnt have alot of time but decided to stop to talk the stranger. “oh don’t be dramatic you’ll be alright there’s just something going around  but i have medicine here somewhere if you need it.” shirley didn’t say anything for fear of being impolite but didn’t find death a topic to joke about

pugsley paused, not having expected to be offered medicine on the spot. “what? so, like, i’m sick because other people are passing around some sort of bug?” he asked, both confused and offended. of course, it shouldn’t have been a surprise considering his work. “so, you’re offering me something that will actually help me or is it just going to make it worse?” he wasn’t too unfamiliar with people pulling tricks on him.

Max couldn’t say that he was the best artist out there but he didn’t necessarily think he was bad either. As he stood back to admire his recently sprayed painted art, which just so happened to reside on the side of a public building he couldn’t help but be pleased with himself. As he noticed someone approaching he decided to play it off as nothing. “ That’s kinda stupid don’t you think? Vandalizing something  and then leaving the evidence behind right out in the open. Whoever did that must be pretty stupid. “ he pointed out, trying his hardest not to chuckle at his own antaics. 

Ever since her brother’s incident Zoe was extremely distracted and withdrawn. She was on her usual route home when she found herself thinking a little too much about things when she unexpectedly collided with someone. Without warning she found herself dropping her sheet music all over the ground and her guitar case landed on the person’s foot. “Oh my god! I’m sorry! I really am!” She quickly apologized though she rushed to examine her guitar, popping the case open before she could carefully set it aside. “Just because I’m checking this out first doesn’t mean I’m concerned, I promise. I just spent all my allowance on a new guitar and yeah,” she stopped herself. “Are you okay? Can I buy you a coffee or tea as a proper apology?”

Going back to school meant returning to the same bullshit she thought she had left behind. Meg’s shoes scuffed against the hallway’s tiles as she made her way to her locker. But she stopped as she noticed a group was gathered around it and seemed to be snapping pictures. She gathered up the courage to inch closer and noticed several insults written all over it with what appeared to be lipstick or paint. Ugly, freak, it wasn’t things she hadn’t heard before but it still hurt. Tears welled up in her eyes and she clenched her fists. She wouldn’t dare show them how much it hurt her. She turned around to rush off to the bathroom when she bumped into someone. “Sorry.” She muttered. Though her paranoia kicked in the moment she noticed them staring. It could have been for any reason in the world but her mind warped it. “What? Have you come to have a laugh too?”
