My mind made of glass my heart of stone,

My potential made of glass my habits of stone,

My efforts made of glass and my intentions of stone,

They both collide and back down I do.

My ego made of glass and my anger of stone,

They both collide and back down I go.

My life made of glass and world of stone,

And where does that one fish go that treats every pond as its home?

Where does that one moth go that is too afraid to get close to the flame?

Where does that one angel go that was cast away by the gods but was too pure to turn to satan?

And what about that narwhal that lost its tusk or the one oyster that could no longer make pearls?

Have you ever wondered about that one phoenix that was choking on its own ashes?

You see the world has all the right places for everyone,

But not really,

The white goes on the moon, the black belongs to the night, right?

“Bravo! You did it,

Rolled your dice and lost it.

After every time I warned you,

It still didn’t get through you.

Now who’s gonna have more thinking to do?”

“How is it my fault?

Every time, I am the first to fall.

At least I am true to my own,

Rather than using everyone like a pawn.

Try putting yourself in my shoes for once.”

I simply said “I think of you as kindness wrapped in perfection,

I think of you as warmth blessed by gentle sun,

I think of you as forest of melodies with drizzle of laughter,

I think of you as a fresh wind filled with love that blow me away every time I feel it”

I chuckled and said,

“I think you should ask that to the ground you step on which blooms sunflowers,

You should ask that to the sun who is shocked to see all those sunflowers stare at you while he claims to be the brightest,

Those obsidian hair of yours that are smoother than feathers and flows even more gracefully than streams running down mountains,

Your lips where each print is like a piano key and plays a melody every time we kiss,

and your flawless skin that I brag about to the clouds,

And these eyes that shine the brightest when sunlight hits you,

Which I find staring into and lose my touch with reality,

Where each second my soul slips deeper into the heavens in you,

Where I see myself reflecting and envy my reflection for being able to get engulfed in you,

And it’s where these eyes collide with mine,

Words welcomed within whole world,

Often overcome observations obtained.
