moved my storage room into the sewers of my minecraft island bc my sewers have soul sand in the floors that lets me get around rlly fast but I didn't realize how quickly the soul speed enchantment depletes durability. so my options now r 1) remove the soul sand from the main room which will be annoying and defeat the purpose of the sewer 2) redesign the main room which will be annoying and might involve moving a bunch of items again 2b) sink the water level of the whole second level of the sewer by a few blocks which won't involve moving items and which I was thinking of doing anyway but it will still be annoying for different reasons 3) install a shoe rack which will require me to first build the shoes using annoying methods and second check my shoes constantly 3b) if I do this I might as well just finish my piglin bartering farm so I don't have to grind like crazy for the soul speed which is a crazy time investment in itself 4) live with the paranoia of breaking my shoes

ok so I think there's like a 97% chance that the twitchcon mc live is going to be promo for Minecraft dungeons which idrc about (peace and love to those who celebrate I've just never played it) but my wildly unsupported conspiracy theory is that the big ancient city portal thing isn't actually a portal, it's some kind of screen. mobs do come out of it but they're like digital ghosts or something, so they're created on the screen, not coming in from a different dimension. the big boss at the end is just a hand or maybe a scary face that reaches out of the screen. if they ever port this to the base game they'll add some way to control what displays on the screen via redstone

I rlly did set myself up for failure by getting obsessed with bakugan as a kid instead of pokemon or digimon or idk sports or something. every fifth 20something is irrationally obsessed with fucking pokemon and the digimon people at least get to be smug and contrarian but I'm over here stuck with the marble franchise that no one's cared about since 2009. hey guys a mild to moderately failing toy company mentioned their classic marble franchise again. they made a big cool poster about it :) it had a lot of my favorite marbles :) it made me really happy :) no nothings happening with the marble franchise tho. yeah it's just the poster. it's not even a public poster either they made it for an industry convention. great poster tho!
