âCareful, Noah, talk like that and Iâll think youâre trying to flatter me.â It was a bit of playful teasing. She and Noah were enough alike that she knew exactly what he was doing. She did it herself. Lowering her voice to barely a purr of a whisper, she continued. âI already want you, you donât have to flatter me.â When he broke the kiss, she leaned in to catch his lips again, but the were already on her neck, and she felt his teeth. She barely managed to bite back a groan as she tightened her grip on his shoulder. âAss.â She muttered, but she didnât have too long to be mad about it before he had her off the ground and against a bookshelf, eliciting a giggle from her. Fucking Noah, making her giggle.Â
Without much else to do with them, her legs wrapped around his waist and she rested her head back against the shelf considering saying a small prayer of forgiveness. âYou know, Noah, I think all that swinging at balls has definitely strengthened your upper body nicely.â She purred into his ear, nibbling at the lobe a minute before trailing her lips down his neck and looping around his jaw back to his mouth.Â
âYou may want me darling, but you know my rules about letting beautiful girls go unappreciatedâ Noah responded with a grin, flexing his shoulders as she gripped them. The sound of a giggle made him arch an eyebrow and shoot her a smirk. âNow theres a interesting sound to hear out of you Barkerâ He said, before rolling his eyes at her joke. âGlad to hear you think so.â He responded, letting her kiss him again, one hand sliding across her hip and under her shirt slowly
âSomeday, I'll let you win me a giant teddy bear and I'll sleep with him every night that I can't sleep with you."
"Some day you won't need to sleep with any teddy bear but me, because I'll be there every time you wake up and every time you fall asleep"
A Nash aesthetic for @axhbarker
Ash just shook her head, eyes rolling a little at him. Cocky and arrogant, usually the type of boy Ash liked ripping to shreds, and she wouldnât say that she didnât like that with Noah, either. But damn, if this boy didnât have some kind of tick that made Ash forget that he was a cocky Alpha male asshole. At least he could deliver, not something that a lot of Alpha male jerks around here could say. âWhy Noah, if I didnât know any better, Iâd think you were trying to get me alone.â She batted her eyelashes, trying to look as innocent as possible before laughing softly and following after him.Â
âDonât worry, Noah, Iâll be sure to let everyone know what a gentleman you are, taking me to such nice places.â She returned his teasing with her own, taking a step into the âstudy spaceâ with a nod of approval before turning to face him. âHowâd you manage to find this place, anyway. hot shot?â She asked, walking over once heâd finished his muttered spells and wasting no time in slipping her arms around his neck. âWhat should we study first? I was thinking your lipsâŚâ Trailing off, she leaned up, kissing him as she tangled her fingers in his hair. Â
Noah smirked at her batting her eyelashes, not denying it. âWell, quite personally I find myself enjoying a bit of one on one time with a beautiful girl like yourselfâ He responded easily. He shrugged at her question, glancing around. âHappened to stumble upon that trick when I was trying to get a book actually. Found this and cleaned it up. I seem to be the only one to use itâ He added, before she wrapped her arms around her neck. He slid his hands over her sides and down to her hips, bending down to kiss her. âA very good place to startâ He agreed after a moment, pulling away with a slight smirk. âBut I was thinking of studying you as wellâ He reminded her, bending his head to scrape his teeth against her neck lightly, biting down ever so slightly. He smirked, knowing exactly what that would do to Ash.Â
Grinning, Noah pulled away slightly, glancing up to make sure the room was still as he left it, before wrapping his arms around Ash and picking her up off the ground, walking forwards to press her against the side of a bookshelf, pinning her there.Â

âThe devil is a deity, Noah, a deity of sin, something weâre both quite familiar with. Though, I believe the technical term is sluâhuhts. Shit, Noah.â Ash would more than remember that little stunt. She hadnât planned on caving so easily, but of course Noah fucking Greene would remember that spot, and take advantage of it. She let out a soft growl in the back of her throat, nails scratching lightly at his skin. âDevil. My point stands.âÂ
She could almost feel his gaze on her, like a lion watching a gazelle, but Ash was no prey. She would never be prey. The smooth sound of his voice behind her cause her to turn around, arms across her chest loosely, one eyebrow quirked. âYou donât think the librarian would want to join us? Stuffy woman could use a bit of study time.â He was close enough that she had to arch her neck upwards to look at him, not something she cared for, but she slowly walked her fingers up his arm, stopping just at his shoulder and letting her hand drop to her side. âLead the way, Noah, Iâm sure youâve got your fair share of private study spaces.âÂ
Noah couldnât really argue with her logic there, though he did laugh. âWell, never let it be said you donât find the most unique names for your study partners then.â He responded, smirking as she scratched at his skin. Noah could be a bit of a jackass after all, no matter the time or activities. He snorted at her question shrugging easily. âYouâre welcome to invite her if you would like, but I think this little study session would be much more enjoyable if it was a private one, donât you agree?â He responded, before leading her down the twisting maze of bookshelves.Â
It took them a minute, but Noah lead her around the main entrance to the restricted section, instead taking a side route that appeared to dead end in a small, forgotten crevice. âNever say I never take you anywhere nice now Ashâ He teased, before taking one end of the near by bookcase, pulling on it. It slowly swung open, turning to block off the small corner and exposing a larger room. âOne private study space, as askedâ He smirked, allowing Ash to enter before him. Before following her, he placed his fingers on his wand, casting a few whispered spells meant for concealment and silencing. Better to be safe than sorry after all.Â
âIâm always worried about how fans of the books will react, but we have kept true to a lot of the books. Obviously there are changes, but with the books as a basis, hopefully the fans will like what we have done.â
Ash hummed out a soft noise at Noahâs hand on her bare skin. The closer he was, the warmer she seemed to get, and she pulled off her sweater to make up for the sudden heat surge. âYou could say the same about me, Noah, and you probably should, as well. After all, Iâve grown up quite a bit since last year.â Her wink was cheeky even as her voice was low and sultry. Reaching up to run her fingers through his hair, she smirked as she gave it a little tug before pulling away again.Â
Noah Greene was the devil, Ash was almost sure of it. He would be the death of her, getting her blood pumping and her heart racing as quickly as he did. Sheâd probably call him one of her top three bangs in the entire castle, though one and two were taken by people she was a little more regularly attached to. âStudy partners are hard to come by, Mr. Greene. Iâve found that the best thing to do is find a few decent study buddies and stick to them.â With a wicked smirk, she leaned back on her hands on the table, looking up at him once heâd made his suggestive comment in her ear. âYouâre the devil, Noah Greene.â She made it a point to give his shirt a little tug, letting her hand slide just beneath it to lightly graze the skin of his torso before pulling away completely. twisting to slide from the table and stand again. âI hope youâe been practicing your silencing charms, Noah. I have every intention of making you beg.â When sheâd delivered the bold statement in his ear, she lightly nipped at the skin of his neck before grabbing her bag and sliding it over her shoulder, taking a few steps away down a shelf of books. His move now.Â
Noah smirked as Ash pulled off her sweater, laughing slightly at her words as he let her run her fingers through his hair. âOh trust me, that wasnât ever in doubt hereâ He responded, voice dipping into something close to a purr, smirking at her as he tilted his head back at her tug. He could have broken her hold easily of course, but where was the fun in that? Head tilting, he arched an eyebrow at her comment, not calling her out on it however. They both knew that while they had standards, neither Ash nor Noah were known for being the pickiest about who they fucked.Â
Noahs grin widened as she leaned back, hand sliding up his shirt slightly as she spoke. âWell, I have to say thats a new one. Most girls seem to connect my name to a certain deity when weâre studyingâ He mused, winking at her, before lowering his head and placing his teeth deliberately on the smooth skin of her neck, biting down lightly before withdrawing. At her comment about silencing charms, he tamped down the shiver threatening to make its way down his spine, instead watching Ash move with anticipatory eyes. Watching her walk away, he smirked, swinging his own bag over his shoulder before strolling up behind her. âI happen to know that this row leads directly to the front desk, and Iâm pretty sure the librarian wouldnât approve of our little study group. If you were really looking for some privacy, I suggest you follow meâ He mentioned, standing just a step behind her and keeping his voice low enough that no one could actively over hear them.Â
âNoah Greene, as I live and breathe.â Ash had no idea how she hadnât recognized that face before now, but her smirk was more wicked once sheâd realized who, exactly, she was talking to. She hopped up on the table beside him, as close as she could possibly be without straddling his chair, and crossed her legs, leaning forward with a small tilt of her head once her skirt was adjusted. âAnd donât you just look more ravishable than I rememberâ oops, ravishing, of course I meant ravishing.âÂ
His comment cause her to let out a small laugh, and she reached out to lightly stroke his chin with her finger, noting that his jaw was just as strong as she remembered. âPerhaps thatâs true sometimes, Noah, but donât you think that studying can be so much more enjoyable when you find someone willing to do all the work.â Subtlety, while not her strong suit, was something she was capable of, and her eyebrows rose suggestively as she spoke. Surely, if anyone could understand her implication, it would be Noah Greene. âHowâve you been, Noah? Hopefully you havenât missed me too much.â She finished her sentence with a wink, her hands lightly resting on her bare knee.Â
Noah smirked as Ash move closer, shifting ever so slightly to make more room for her on his side of the table. Arching an eyebrow at her words, he leaned into her space, slowly trailing his hand up one leg to rest it on her knee. âOh, Iâm sure you didâ He responded, voice half purring at her as he looked her over, grinning. âI could say the same about you you knowâ He returned, lips twitching. Letting her trail a finger along his jaw, he lifted his chin, mismatched eyes narrowing slightly.Â
Her blatant offer made him tilt his head, the hand on her knee slowly starting to slide higher. âWhile I canât find fault with that argument, I would have hoped you remembered that I like to return favors Ash.â He responded, smirk still present. âAfter all, its only politeâ. At her question he grinned, laughing slightly. âOh, well, Iâve gotten by, but I havenât found to many decent study partners.â He replied, before glancing around. They were mostly unobserved, and so he stood, fluid and near silent, moving into her space. âAs delightful company as you are Ash, if youâre looking for a more private area to study, then I can suggest quite a fewâ He said, hand still trailing ever so slowly upward as he leaned forward to speak lowly into her ear.Â

The library was surprisingly crowded after Ash had finished her last class of the day. The Gryffindor strolled confidently through the bookshelves, noting with a quirk of her brow that there seemed to be quite a few couples, specifically, flirting and being generally gross. It made her roll her eyes. Couples were pathetic, honestly. All batting eyelashes and dopey declarations of love. They werenât even good at flirting, which was enough to make Ash want to show them a thing or two. Once sheâd found the book that she was looking for, she glanced around, finding a table with a lone occupant and deciding to put the little plan sheâd dreamed up into action.Â
She strolled over, casually resting her hip against the table next to the other person, a clearly obvious smirk on her face as she looked them up and down. âHello, kitten. Mind if I study youâ Oh!â Ash pretended to be embarrassed, eyelashes batting slightly as she brought a hand to her mouth to cover it. âI mean⌠with you. Sorry, I got lost in your stunningly good looks and lost myself for a moment.âÂ
Noah had been bored off his ass in the library, balancing on the back legs of his chair as he waited in vain for Flynn or Ben to show up, though neither of them did. Jesus, what was the point of having study sessions if neither of them showed up? Of course, no one actually studied when they did show up, but at least they got to hang out. But then, Ben has been acting weird towards Noah since he and Erian broke up, and Flynn had been basically non existent since the same night. Noah admitting to fucking Ben had probably fucked up his chances with the younger Debussy as well. That was Noah, destroying friendships with meaningless sex. He should get that on a shirt.Â
Distracted by musing over his friendships, he nearly missed the approach of another girl - nearly. It was still Noah after all. He smirked at her very, very obvious flirting, looking her over slowly. âWell, I wouldnât be opposed, as long as you tend to let me return the favorâ He replied, letting all four legs of the chair return to the ground. âAfter all, I find ... studying, is much more enjoyable when both people are equally involved, donât you think so?â
Nodding frantically, he looked at the other. âIâm beyond sureâ he said and turned around, looking at the books once again trying to act like a normal human being. His eyes once again scanning the book titles. But none fit what he was looking for. Hearing the other boys voice, he frowned. âEhm.. hah okay I guessâ he said.
Noah watched the other boy examining the shelves, arching an eyebrow. Noah had to admit, he wasnât used to shy people. He could certainly be introverted at times, but he could also turn on the charm and be the center of attention nearly on command. Shy people confused the ravenclaw. But Noah grinned when the other boy accepted the offer of a book recommendation, standing and approaching the shelves. âWhat type of things are you looking for? Iâm assuming history if youâre in this section, but fiction, non fiction, time period?â
Anneliese arched her eyebrows. Of course he knew her name, she knew his for the exact same reason. Noah was as terrible a she predicted, visibly. âJust stuck to my name.â she said coldly. She hid her astonishment at Noahâs words. She surely didnât want to know anything about this boy, but it surprised her that he would read books. He was a bookworm just like her. Well, she thought, unfortunately that didnât stop him from being stupidly rude. She slowly picked the books and bit her lips. âNice choiceâ, she said quickly.
Noah smirked slightly at her arched eyebrow, wonder if she was expecting him to have no clue who she was. Of course he would know her. Purebloods tended to keep track of each other, if only distantly. âIf youâd like then, Deauclaireâ He responded, before watching her pick up a book. He watched her carefully intending to intervene if she treated the book poorly. If there was one thing he really hated above all else, it was people who mistreated their books. He relaxed a bit when she complimented the choices, and it was obvious she wasnât going to harm the books. âThank you. Iâve been reading a lot by that author recentlyâ He replied.Â
Books have always been something the young boy loved. Fantasy books and history books the most. As he entered the library, he instantly went to the history part and let his eyes fly over the different book titles. Clearing his throat a little due to him being a little sick, he heard someone. Turning around, he frowned. âI-I ehm n-noâ he stuttered.
Noah looked the other boy up and down, not recognizing him, though that didnât mean much. Noah didnât recognize a lot of people after all. âYou sure about that?â He asked, faintly amused. He recognized the look that had been on the other boys face, he had it every time he got a new pile of books and couldnât choose one. âIâve been told I give very good book recommendations, if you want oneâ
Anneliese couldnât help but feel irritated. Anytime she would want to sit in a calm corner of the library to read peacefully, she found a couple or some student that thought this place was their dormitory. She felt even more irritated when she realized that the student on the couch was nothing less than Noah Greene. âNoah.â, she said coldly. Unfortunately, their two powerful and wealthy pureblood families knew each other, so she knew his existence. She didnât really know this guy, and she hoped he didnât know about her at all. âThis library is not your dormitory, and I just need two of the books you have there. Youâre not reading right now.â
Noah smirked at Anneliese, never one to turn up the chance to toe the line with other pureblooded children. âDeauclaire. Youâll have to forgive me, Iâm not entirely sure of your first nameâ he lied, knowing full well who she was. His parents made sure he knew every appropriate pureblood in a hundred miles who was within his age range. âAnnie, right?â He asked, before shrugging and motioning at the stack. âIâm in your house dearie, I know where our dorms are. Surprisingly enough, Iâm using this as a library, as you seem so intent on doing. I just prefer to lie down when I read. Take whatever youâd like, Iâve read most of them anyways.â

âYeah I want that book you have on your pile. Iâm going to take it.â Emma said without any thought. She had spent a good amount of time looking for this book, and there it was. It wouldnât matter if he still wanted the book, she needed it. Since she was in no mood to put up with anyone at all today, she bend over and picked the book up.Â
Noah arched an eyebrow, sitting up easily and reaching out to pluck the aforementioned book from her grasp. âNow Iâm not sure how your parents raised you, but mine taught me to have something called mannersâ He replied, half smirk on his face, concealing how annoyed he was. You didnât just go up to someone and take their books after all. Unless of course, you were a terrible person who didnât actually care about books. âNormally, if you were going to try and take something that someone else has, you could at least use the words please and thank you, if nothing elseâ
Noah wasnât exactly the type to enjoy small talk, or be polite to people he found boring. And right now, he really didnât want to speak to any one. And so he had retreated to a little used corner of the library, a stack of books next to him as he stretched out on the couch. Settling in, Noah had just finished the second book out of his stack and was staring at the ceiling, considering taking a nap instead of getting lunch, when someone cleared their throat behind him. âCan I help you?â
