There aren’t London planes in England?

We do have London planes (Platanus × hispanica) in the UK but they aren’t native and are seen less commonly outside of cities (particularly London parks!) They tend to cause confusion for people learning their trees - or who are more familiar with rural trees - as they are often mistaken for trees in the maple family (mostly “sycamore”/ acer pseudoplatanus - hence the name - as that’s extremely common despite only having been introduced a couple of thousand years ago).
