It’s hilarious because men are always like “where would you be without men to protect you?” And I’m over here saying “if it weren’t for men we wouldn’t NEED protection!”

We really wouldn’t. I’ve said it before, we’ve created areas where we have no predator animals to worry about and yet somehow women still have to be afraid to go at night because the male half of our own goddam species will prey on us, if not in our own homes in our own families. I felt safer when a coyote ran past me a few nights ago than I have with a man walking behind me in broad daylight. I’d rather see eyes glowing from the trees at night than have a man close behind me.

Yup. When I go hiking alone, do you think I worry about snakes or wolves or bears? Nope. I worry about being stalked and murdered by a man in the woods.
