Screw it, I’ve never publicly written a fic before so I might as well put up a request for asks to help guide my process. This was mainly inspired by @punkp3rcyjacks0n who wrote some crack fic concepts with this idea before I was inspired by them and is very cool. (Also I am looking for eventual contributors to help with the final edit of the fic once I complete it so if you're interested DM me)

The basic premise, Sally Jackson met Dionysus instead of Poseidon on that fateful beach. As a result we have a Percy with hyperactive emotions, a sixth sense for feelings, a tendency to pause and have blackouts, a sugar addiction, a knack for breaking things, and snap bracelets
I’m also trying to lean more into the “God of madness and conquest worshiped by cults of revelry and divine communication through substance use” side of Dionysus rather than the “Wine dude” side of things. I am also more than willing to take apart my blorbos and rewrite canon and am actively trying to get new monsters into the story instead of writing a rehash of Riordan’s works.
Update: SoM is fully finished now, it was a fun struggle to write and the finished product is far from perfect but I’m proud I managed to finish my first full fic.
